When I made the decision to join the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, I was already studying at XIMB. I won't judge whether it was the right decision or not. We were the inaugural batch at #iimv, facing numerous challenges. However, our aspirations soared high. We embraced the responsibility of constructing our institution from the ground up. Witnessing the institution's progress today and the accomplishments of my peers and juniors fills me with pride. It's a fledgling institution, yet I'm confident it will soon rival the best in the country. This post isn't about praising IIM Visakhapatnam. It's about the individuals behind the development of any organization, whether an institution or a company. Every organization starts small, but some individuals envision its grandeur and nurture bigger dreams. Visualize a dream, have faith in yourself, and take ownership of your allocated tasks. Take pride in your institution or company (you'll undoubtedly discover numerous positives amid the negatives). This not only brings joy but enables you to make a more substantial impact. Without love, dedication doesn't manifest, and without dedication, success remains elusive. #latepost The Corporate Image Building (CIBU) course for the batch of MBA-BM 2022-24 of XIM Bhubaneswar ended in the 1st week of March. I had an interesting, eclectic mix of students who brought in diverse views, perspectives and disagreements on opinions about how corporates think (about) and how models work and perhaps may not, in the development of a sustained reputation. The CIB(U) course builds heavily on perspectives, thinking about corporate thought, vision building and strategic communication. As we work more with Case-based learning (CBL), Peer-assisted learning (PAL) along with self-directed learning(SDL) and collaborative learning, this year, my 5th with this course across schools, has been another addition to my learning curve. #developingandgrowing

New Logo of IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE) was designed by NID Bengaluru, I loved the concept that truly represents NITIE :) Our Director, Manoj Tiwari Sir aptly conveyed the meaning during the release: "The multiple interconnected triangles forming a shape of mountain indicate the institute’s expertise in supply chain management and other network enterprise. I am thrilled to share that I have joined the esteemed Xavier Institute of Management(XIM Bhubaneswar), for their flagship MBA-BM program. This achievement marks a significant milestone in my unwavering pursuit of excellence in business management. The road to XIMB wasn't always smooth sailing. Graduating in 2023, I attempted the MBA entrance exams, determined to embark on this exciting new chapter. While I scored decently (84%ile in CAT and 89%ile in XAT), these results fell short of my own expectations. This wasn't the outcome I envisioned, but instead of letting it discourage me, I decided to channel that energy into a laser-focused year of preparation. The dedication and perseverance poured into that year were truly transformative. It wasn't easy, but the unwavering support from those around me kept me motivated. The relentless studying, countless practice tests, and determination to reach my full potential culminated in a phenomenal performance across various exams: ->98.81%ile in XAT ->96.19%ile in CAT ->245 in NMAT ->99.96%ile in MAT This journey has been a beautiful tapestry woven with moments of immense satisfaction and undeniable challenges – a testament to the transformative power of hard work and unwavering belief.
