Gobbledygook! Do you know what this word means? Maybe Maybe not (go ahead, search the meaning if you don't) But, we have all fallen a victim to this! Especially in the workplaces... Especially the higher you go in organisational setting... Especially when consultants or subject matter experts are involved.... Gobbledygook is language that is Made unintelligent or meaningless By using unclear words... This is sometimes guised as: JARGON ACRONYMS TECHNICAL TERMS CORPORATE MUMBO JUMBO! SO what out when you communicate! Keep it simple! Keep it short! Keep is straigh-forward! KEEP IT CLEAR! This is tip #3 of 100 in my 100 days of tips to enhance personal impact. 7 years ago... I was in a very well paid job, Working with lovely people, On a rising career trajectory, With excellent work-life balance, And endless opportunities! The only thing missing was... Hello Dubai!! I am back! After a beautiful and gorgeous two months in the UK... it's back to the UAE! Two months in the UK....was it a holiday? I had expected it to be a "working holiday"!
