💡I'm grateful for the chance to hear more about the Monzo way of building a modern payment system and gain first-hand insights into Monzo's Engineering culture from Xiayun Sun, Director of Engineering. It was fascinating to learn about their innovative approaches and best practices.
🕉️Following this, we shifted our focus to a topic that resonates with everyone, but especially with Managers - "Managing Stress"🤯. The session led by Marissa Mocenigo was particularly enlightening. Here are some key takeaways:

🌟The Panel Discussion and Q&A were equally enriching, where we discussed the drivers behind moving into the role of Engineering Manager, barriers to entry, and self-growth in continuous learning, confidence building, and the art of self-representation. It was truly inspiring to see the audience resonate with the experiences shared by Annjana, Bianca, Alice, and Oge.
