Arcadia City Council | Former Mayor of Arcadia | Shareholder/Partner/Trial Counsel | Former Deputy City Prosecutor/Mediator

Your safety and well-being have always been our top priority, and the Arcadia City Council is taking decisive action in light of the recent "Zero Bail Schedule" that is set to roll out on October 1st, 2023, across all criminal courts in Los Angeles County. While we in Arcadia deeply value every individual's liberties and push for policies that are in sync with the public welfare, this new policy raises substantial concerns about our city's public safety and potentially negates the extensive work and investment we've put into ensuring our community remains a secure and hospitable place for all. That’s why Arcadia, together with 26 other cities, including Artesia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Beverly Hills, has signed on to an injunction to halt the implementation of the new zero bail schedule. United, we stand firm against policies that could potentially compromise our city’s safety and tranquility. We will continue to advocate for the safety and well-being of our community, and we believe that smart and thoughtful policies are essential to achieving that goal. We remain committed to finding solutions that protect both individual rights and public safety. Your concerns are our concerns. We are adamant in ensuring the continuous safety and welfare of our community. Your insights matter and drive us to safeguard the Arcadian way of life. #ProtectArcadia #ZeroBailPolicy #SafetyFirst #CommunityWellbeing #SecureArcadia #PublicSafety #BalancedPolicies #Injunction #UnitedForSafety #LACounty #Community #PublicSafety #StandWithArcadia #ProtectOurCommunity #LosAngelesCounty

All LA County's city's should jointly sue the county and the Governor and all party's in evolved with this reductions bail policy, that will put life's at risk . This is not a wait and see what happened 10 years down the road policy , it is harmful and reckless regard for human safety. If city's don't fight this well, then you get what you get.
