"In organizational systems, any one perspective is insufficient; therefore, we must seek a broader perspective from others. Other people see facets we can't, and it's only through dialog that we see more of the system, allowing us to make better decisions." -Dain Johnson For more information on Strata Leadership's Character Core Magazine, visit strataleadership.com/core

Black men are making their mark on the corporate world, but there’s still plenty of progress that needs to be made. Less than 6% of the CEOs in this country are Black. That is unacceptable, and it’s why we work tirelessly to help Black people develop their skills. So when C-suite openings come around, they can’t be ignored. Black Men in Leadership (BML) 2024 is our next virtual seminar to help Black men thrive in their industries. Had the privilege of presenting on Cultivating Executive Presence to a phenomenal group of Latina lawyers during the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Latina Leadership Academy today in Washington, DC! 🙌 The engagement and energy were incredible. Here are 3 key takeaways we discussed: 1. How we show up matters – executive presence is about projecting confidence and competence, while staying true to who you are. 2. Traditional Latino values, like humility and respect, can both enhance and challenge how we lead in corporate environments. 3. The 3 pillars of executive presence – gravitas, communication, and appearance – are essential for navigating and excelling in leadership roles. Loved the conversation and the insights shared! 💼✨ #LatinaLeadership #ExecutivePresence #WomenInLaw
