Transitioning is never easy, and last July, I found myself on the job market after 10 dedicated years at Parts Authority. While it's a change I didn't anticipate or ask for, I'm using it as an opportunity to find a new and exciting challenge! I'm a highly motivated Systems Engineer with a strong track record of success in IT infrastructure, this includes automation, disaster recovery, and business integrations. Throughout my career, I've consistently: Automated System Deployments: Leveraged Ansible to deploy secure and finely tuned base systems, streamlining processes for the development team. Implemented Comprehensive Monitoring: Established thorough monitoring with Solarwinds, creating custom templates and alerts to proactively identify and address potential issues. Maintained System Security: Implemented and upheld a robust patch management strategy to minimize vulnerabilities and enhance system security. Disaster Recovery Efforts: Designed, deployed, and maintained disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity. Built a High-Performing NOC Team: Played a pivotal role in establishing a Network Operations Center (NOC) team, fostering knowledge transfer and creating runbooks to automate solutions for common problems. Supported Business Acquisitions: Successfully led IT efforts for dozens of business acquisitions, ranging from single retail locations to multiple retail locations with large warehouses.
