As the industry heads to #cannes next week, sending a thank you to Yusuf Chuku for judging the WARC Grand Prix #creative awards. It's not often we see a strong POV on the confluence of media (framing) and creative (asset). I wholeheartedly advocate this more complete approach to ad impact! Been on this train for awhile and it's about time we all caught up. Curious Yusuf Chuku - how were the WARC evaluations conducted? Did you use any tools or was it based on human judgement? Asking as I think our industry is at a crucible. We have great, affordable scientifically sound ways to quickly measure impact and engagement on creative/media. Even for judging panels. :) Todd DAIVID 🦩 Ian Forrester 🦩 #media #advertising #mrxjobx Insights Association WARC WPP Publicis Groupe Omnicom Media Group

Driving new business growth as the Chief Marketing Officer at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers | Part Owner Auto Action | Marketing Specialist | Writer | Media Presenter | Advisor on doing business with China | Motorsport
I'm not sure what this journo is trying to get at. Does he think the AGP, a sell-out event, shouldn't increase its prices because we are experiencing a cost-of-living crisis? Its operating costs have risen, so ticket costs will surely rise. I think these rises are too small. Maybe a major events reporter should have a little more of a big-picture view... and perhaps the AGP should review where it spends its money! We should be praising the AGP for year-on-year growth, and for bringing motorsport to a bigger market than ever before, and for running a fantastic event, https://loom.ly/-AZQ6wE #AGP

The economic benefits are evident. National Rugby League clubs offer a robust and secure investment opportunity. You are welcome to join us today by visiting https://lnkd.in/eaguM_FG. Observe the remarkable growth in revenue for the Brisbane Broncos during the year when a competitor entered their direct market! #NRL #NRLW #rugbyleague "The management arm of the NRL teams, Broncos Limited (ASX: BBL), informed that the profit before tax for the Group, for CY23, is expected to surge approximately 70% to 80% above the 2022 result of $4.7 million. This financial leap is attributed to the stellar performance of the NRL and NRLW teams during the 2023 season, culminating in Grand Final and Semi Final appearances, respectively." "The surge in on-field achievements translated into a boost across various revenue streams. Average crowds, memberships, ticketing, merchandise, and corporate sales revenues all saw an upswing compared to the prior reporting period. Increased consumer activity and higher attendance also led to a rise in game day and stadium operating costs." "In the first half of CY23, the Company’s total revenue reached $39.15 million, marking an uptick from $30.66 million in the same period in 2022. Breaking down the revenue streams, the NRL grant stood out at $9.27 million, reflecting a 21.5% increase, in line with the NRL club funding agreement and NRLW grant funding. The inclusion of an extra NRL home game in the first half of 2023 also contributed to the growth in game day revenue." "Broncos saw a 42.4% increase in revenue generated from membership and corporate programs, an extra home game, and more people attending games during the 2023 season. The average crowd increased to 35,100 from 27,751 in the first half of 2022." "The revenue from season memberships was based on eight NRL home games, one more than in 2022. Total memberships, including both ticketed and non-ticketed, reached 42,162, a substantial increase from 31,902 in 2022."
Financial success is following the on-field wins for the Brisbane Broncos (#ASX: BBL) after a year of stellar NRL and NRLW performances, with the company now expecting up to 80% profit growth following their 2023 audit https://lnkd.in/gdSrVhR5

🥁 2 days post Businessplan-Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg (BPW) 🥁 Let's get it out of the way: We did not win, sorry, fans! Thanks for all the support though, especially everyone who came to the event just for Henrietta! You guys are just ❤️ Congrats to the winners of both the main prize and the audience prize (I honestly don't think anyone could have competed with that winning pitch, so chapeau!). The good news for me and Henrietta though: We ranked 6th in total! Out of more than 150 entries 🤯 I tend to sweep accomplishments like this under the rug but I think it is time to take a step back and look at this result as it is. This was my first business plan I ever wrote. It is a strange feeling to publicly say that I am proud of something I achieved but I am. Is this a female thing? And of course it wouldn't be a proper LinkedIn Post without the key learnings, so I also have one for you: A business plan is hard work but once I had it, it made so much sense to do it. Sounds like a no brainer but sometimes we need to say the most obvious things or even write them down - like you have to with your business idea in a business plan. Many of the things I wrote down felt like "d'uh" moments because it was all in my head, not really cohesive but it was there. Consequently, it was really important to see them all written down in a structured form. It made me feel much safer with my idea and the execution. Also, I was able to incorporate so many bits and pieces that came to me which led to a well rounded strategy. So I will definitely continue with the plan for the next phase in may and incorporate the feedback I was given. Can't wait to learn more about how to best work on Henrietta! #femalefounders #berlinstartups #womeninai Paul Karrmann Tamara Bayreuther Karolin Maiwald Julian Faust
So excited to be at Ritterbutzke with Elena for the BPW competition. I hope Henrietta will win! Wish us luck!

Did you know that October is National Cooperative Month? It’s time to celebrate what makes coops so special! So, what does it really mean to be a coop, and why does it matter? 🔹What is a Cooperative? - At its core, a cooperative is a business owned and controlled by the people who use its services. Think of it as a business model where the power—and the profits—stay local. UFC isn’t owned by some distant corporation; it’s owned by members of our community, just like you. 🔹How It Works at UFC - Being a coop means we operate with a “people first” mindset. Every decision we make is guided by our members’ needs, not shareholders' demands. That means when you choose UFC, you’re not just buying products or services—you’re investing in a community-driven business that’s built to support you. Stay tuned throughout October as we share more about what it means to be a coop and how UFC is working hard to serve its members every day.
