All the practitioners in our clinic are brilliant therapists who are able to answer questions like: 🤔 Who should I see for a specific injury, like a rotator cuff injury or meniscus tear? 😱 I'm scared of needling, do I have to have it done? 😩 I don't know if I feel better yet, should I keep my next appointment? Don't feel shy or embarrassed to ask us anything! We are here to help you, and that includes if you feel like you aren't getting results as quickly as you would like. Our therapists don't take this personally, and are always happy to explain the treatment process, and let you know what expectations to have. Keep in mind that if you've had pain or injury for a long time without treatment, it may take a few treatments to calm the intensity of the symptoms and begin to rebuild strength, stamina and resilience in that area.

💦 is extremely common but not normal Here's what you can do about it: Kegels or pelvic floor squeezes are the front line treatment for pelvic floor issues (like incontinence) because they strengthen pelvic floor muscles which provide more support for the pelvic organs above them. But it is a little more complicated than that. To resolve your symptoms fully, you may need to understand exactly what's causing them and meet the specific needs that your individual body has. The New normal for a wound Ostomy and Continence patient. ➡️When I engage with a client with wound, stoma or incontinence, i try to be empathetic (Try to understand and see things in there perspective and emotions) ➡️ I tell you it’s not so easy to adapt in a new normal when you have a chronic complex wound, permanent stoma or leakage of urine and feaces. So how do you assist this client to cope? ➡️Educate the patient to understand the changes and the process of healing ➡️counseling- walk with the client step by step handling there worries and concern on the new changes-this should be a continuous process. ➡️Be empathetic - try to understand what the client is going through and see things in their perspective and walk with them through the process of healing. ➡️Be the patient advocate-ensure the patient gets quality care by providing the necessary resources, access care from a specialist where necessary What else can we do for our clients?
