Am I alone on this? "We normally pass on candidates with short stints unless there is a good reason." Well, what's a good reason? Life is full of hiccups and if there is a short stint, it's not always the candidate's fault. Even if someone got fired, does that mean they can't be productive in a new and different environment. In 2023, there was a noticeable shift in the approach of hiring managers. Previously, they would focus on selecting candidates based on their technical skills and work experience, without paying much attention to their soft skills. However, there was a change in attitude and hiring managers began to consider candidates who may not have had all the necessary technical skills, but possessed exceptional soft skills and were willing to learn.
