Unless it’s a scarf — one size NEVER fits all. ⬆️ This is a PSA to the women’s clothing industry and my newsletter folks. When it comes to newsletter premise, the tighter the better. But here’s the thing: It’s different depending on industry and niche. Is your niche kinda saturated? Go sharp, go tight, go specific. Is your niche completely untapped? A bit of a wider approach could be acceptable. Here’s what I mean: 👉 Wanna write a newsletter about Gen AI? (pls don’t. But if you must…) You’ve got to go deep and super specific. There are already a million newsletters in the space. Tune in to YOUR specialty and find a very distinct way to differentiate yourself. Bad premise: Daily news and updates on GenAI. Decent premise: Tactical tips to use GenAI in your veterinary practice. On the flip side: 👉 Wanna write a newsletter about the importance of pay transparency in the hiring process for employee retention? This niche is much more open. You don’t need to narrow it down nearly as much. But notice… the audience is already narrowed down. You’d be writing for high-level HR and people leaders. When it comes to a winning newsletter premise, there’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. You need a premise built out on adequate market and audience research aligned with your niche (and how pointed it already is) Sometimes you’ll need a premise tighter than your aunt’s skinny jeans. And other times, your industry/niche might be so wide open, a comfy mumu fit will serve you better. Anyone who swears there’s only one way to make it work is a liar, limited in experience, or trying to get you to buy whatever O/S MLM replaced LulaRoe. Finding the right premise isn’t rocket science. But it is a tailored process. P.s. I talk a whole lot about content marketing and newsletters. Wanna tag along? Paige Peterson, MSMK Wanna nerd out? DMs always open.

Helping solo founders 40+ turn their expertise into a unique offer that attracts dream clients & sells their consulting for them | Even if marketing ain't your thing 🤯 | Get the exact Blueprint for yourself👇
It doesn’t matter if you’re an introvert or an extrovert. It doesn’t matter if you’re starting out or have been in business for years. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female. The fear of looking inferior can impact anyone. And when it comes to marketing yourself online. That fear increases tenfold. And so you go into protection mode. Doing everything you can to avoid being exposed. Some choose to outsource - get someone else to write their content for them. Some choose to use Chatgpt - copy, paste, post, done. Some choose to repost others’ content rather than their own. Some choose to keep it strictly business - This is what my audience are interested in so I’ll just talk about that. Some choose to take images next to things that give the impression they’re more successful than they are. I’ve done them all 🙈 And none of them resulted in a significant uplift in leads. The only result I really got was one of disappointment. From looking at what was on my feed, dying a little inside. Because you know the truth. That what is on display to the world is a fraction of what you’ve got burning inside you. And it’s frustrating because you desperately want to share your ideas, knowledge, and opinions. Just like you do with your family and friends. But how can you show up and share online without feeling like you’ve been caught with your pants down? Next week, I’m bringing together a select great group of peeps to show them exactly how to effortlessly express their genius in their marketing to attract the RIGHT clients, sign your first LinkedIn client, and embed a system to secure 2-3 clients a month over the next 14 weeks. Without feeling exposed, hustle and hype, or complex strategies. If you’re ready to stop relying on referrals, networking meetings, and being the worlds’ best-kept secret, drop me a DM and I’ll send you the details. x

Followers are great…but they’re not going to pay your bills 🤔 A new follower who has just discovered you is right at the top of your sales funnel. Now you need to take them on a journey. 👇 ✅ understand their struggles and speak to these ✅ be approachable and conversational in your content (like you would in real life!) ✅ be engaging or you’ll quickly blend in and get lost. ✅ be inquisitive and tell stories, ✅ be consistent and instantly recognisable! ✅ build trust and credibility - which can sometimes take a while ✅ tell them what you want them to do - don’t be confusing in your content! ✅ regularly explain how they might be able to work with you - give them opportunities to reach out. And actively build your network - connect with interesting people, and have chats with a diverse range of people. Opportunities often come from the most unlikely places! Being visible is the key! I help busy founders leverage LinkedIn by creating their Personal Brand with proven outreach techniques| Freelance Social Media Manager
I recently declined a sales call. I saw a gap in the founder’s content. I wanted to help with the gap. His content was brilliant other than the gap. He posted twice a week. He was lacking personal stories and I wanted to help him with the same. He mentioned he was short of time. Therefore he never put up such content. He did not want to share his personal experiences as he didn’t want to make it public. Which is fair but with his learning, he could build a community of his own. The rest of the content was his marketing learnings. He didn’t want to put in 15 mins a week due to his busy schedule. He asked me to gather content from the internet and write about it. According to me, I have never worked that way and I thought it wasn’t the right way. Hiring me was to get the authenticity of a particular founder and his daily life. If gathering information from the internet was the take? Would that show the opinions of the founder? Will that showcase the founder’s story? Will that showcase the founder’s authentic self? Will that showcase the founder’s values? Removing those 15-20 mins might be difficult but your thoughts will help you stand out from the crowd. Using authentic content for personal branding is the way to do it. At this point, the client and my values did not align therefore I refused to work with him. Honestly, I found it difficult as well because I never worked that way. Have you declined a sales call because your values did not align with the client? I’d love to hear your story! #personalbranding #authencity #sales #founder

Digital Media Strategist | Content & Copywriter | Building Strong Online Brands Through Creative Strategies🚀
Struggling to get your ideal clients to notice your content? Here’s my approach that consistently brings my ideal clients to my profile and keeps them coming back. 1. Follow leaders in your niche. Identify top creators who share valuable insights in your industry. 2. Engage with relevant posts. Find posts that discuss similar services or topics you focus on. 3. Leave thoughtful, value-packed comments. Take the conversation deeper by providing useful insights, not just one-liners. 4. Identify potential clients in the comments. Look at the commenters—these are the people who are engaged in your niche! 5. Start a conversation. Reply to their comments with meaningful feedback or questions that add value. 6. Do a profile scan. Check if their profile matches your Ideal Client Profile (ICP). 7. Engage on their content. Leave thoughtful comments on their recent posts. Show them you care about their work too. 8. Send a connection request with a personal note. Build genuine relationships with a friendly, personalized message. 9. Build rapport through DMs. Instead of selling, get to know them—this is key to creating trust. 10. Be consistently valuable. Share content that speaks to their pain points and shows how you can solve their problems. By focusing on building connections first, you’ll not only gain loyal followers but also position yourself as the go-to expert when your services are needed. How I Improved my LINKEDIN HEADLINE in 60 Seconds You've got the experience, the skills, and the drive, but does your LinkedIn headline reflect that? No The first thing people see, yet so many professionals overlook its power. Your headline is more than a job title, it's your professional banner and most of this problem lies with having a generic headline "Experienced marketing professional" or "Dedicated financial advisor" might describe what you do, but it doesn't make you stand out, it's just like you wearing a camouflage Here's the thing 📍Start with specificity, what niche do you excel in? What unique value do you bring? This is about you being seen and remembered. 📍In the next 60 seconds, think of keywords. What would someone type into LinkedIn's search bar to find a professional like you, and embed those terms in your headline what matters is you popping up on the page 📍Show your impact. Instead of "Sales Manager," how about "Sales Manager | 300% Growth Achiever | Tech Industry Innovator"? This doesn't present you as a title, you're a story of success and innovation. 📍Your headline is your story in a nutshell. It's your chance to tell LinkedIn who you are and what you're about in just a few words. Make those words count and make them so compelling that they can't help but click to learn more. In these 60 seconds, you can transform from a label to a personal brand. Ready to make your mark? I'm Faizat Hussein, I help redefine branding and content strategies for better niche positioning, follow and DM to collaborate. #LinkedInTips #PersonalBranding #HeadlineMakeover

Creating and publishing posts and getting no response is frustrating. There are only 2 reasons your posts are getting very few likes, comments, impressions... 1. You don't have the right people in your connected network. 💡 Your posts are primarily show to your 1st degree connections when they're scrolling their feed. People outside your network are not seeing your posts. 💡 If you're recruiting, you need to be connected with people who are likely to be your ideal candidates. 💡 If you're selling, be connected with your ideal customers. 2. Your posts might genuinely suck. People are only interested in your posts if they find them valuable. 💡 Write about your customers, their problems and how you help them transition from where they are now to where they want to be. 💡 Serve. Don't sell. People are here to learn, not buy. 💡 Most people honestly don't care about your company's latest award, your analyst rating, your latest release or new widget. They care about solving their own problems. If you truly have your reader's best interests at heart, it'll show in your content. The same is true if all you're looking to do is extract value for yourself. Give value abundantly before you ask for anything in return. You don't have to answer this in the comments, but at least think about it: Are your posts truly serving your followers on this platform? 🤷

Founder @ LYNKD | AllBound Systems For A Predictable Pipeline | $850K+ Delivered in Revenue | Favikon Top 100 Creator in the UK
I reach 100,000+ people weekly with just my posts. (8 months ago, I’d be lucky to reach even 5000) What changed? I started using a mini-mission statement for every post I wrote: 1) Who is this for? ↳ B2B founders 2) What is it about? ↳ Founder-led marketing 3) How does it benefit them? ↳ Helps them drive business results 4) What do I want them to feel? ↳ Educated, informed and curious 5) What action do I want them to take? ↳ To follow/connect or book a call TA → Topic → Benefit → Emotion → Action = Clarity And that’s all it takes to write content that sticks. ♻️ Found this helpful? Repost and help your network!
