Why hire a consultant? I’m so glad you asked, as there's a few myths kicking about. Consultants are generally highly experienced specialists in their field, and as lovers of change, that big project or problem you’ve been procrastinating over for months is like Christmas day to the right consultant. As an outsider, they bring fresh ideas and thinking to your business or organisation. They can help motivate your in-house staff, have those difficult conversations, disrupt the status quo and kickstart some big-picture thinking. In the current landscape, where finding the right employee can feel like a scene from Mission Impossible, hiring the right consultant who’s ready to hit the ground running can save you time, money and plenty of mental real estate. So, if you’ve dabbled with the idea of a bringing in a specialist for a month... or a year, maybe now’s the time. In the Limestone Coast, we're incredibly lucky to have some champion consultants roaming among us -Toni Duka, Liz McKinnon, Barry Stafford - all with different skillsets (and if I've missed anyone, feel free to add your pitch down below). My specialty is strategic communications. Let's break it down. Are you looking to announce some news or launch a campaign? Tell some stories about your business which resonate with the right people? Feeling like your online platforms aren’t working for you? Got a crisis brewing and need some advice and support? Hello - I’m your consultant. Check out my services here and take the first step…. https://lnkd.in/gGfSX6xa #communications #media #strategy

🔍 Analyst Relations Often Gets a Bad Wrap... Should It? Analyst Relations (AR) is often an unsung hero, overlooked or misunderstood by many CEOs and CMOs. The common perception? It’s just about entertaining opinionated folks who might not always align with your vision, promoting competitors, and delaying deal cycles. But here's the real scoop: Analysts (think Forrester, Gartner, Everest Group, etc) are pivotal in shaping market perceptions and guiding customer choices, especially in the enterprise and their world where the fear of messing up is greater than the fear of missing out. 📈 Here are four actionable strategies that I've used to turn Analyst Relations into a powerhouse: Understand Your Market Through Analysts' Eyes: Analysts hold the key to invaluable insights about your market, competitors, prospects questions & concerts, and how your brand is perceived (what is said about you when you’re not in the room). Regularly engaging with them can provide a fresh perspective on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer expectations. Playing the Long Game - Align Analysts with Your Vision: It's crucial to involve analysts early and often in your strategic discussions. Sharing your roadmap and seeking their feedback not only garners valuable insights but can also ensure they view your innovations favorably when making recommendations. Leverage Analyst Insight in Sales Cycles: Fear of making the wrong choice looms large in buyers' minds (think Matt Dixon's JOLT effect). You can use analyst research to boost your sales narrative, frame the competitive landscape prospects should be considering, and why choosing your brand is a safe bet. Participate in Research Request with Purpose: Treat those lengthy surveys and reports as an opportunity to showcase your strengths. Proper preparation and involving the right team members can significantly impact your position in critical market evaluations like Gartner's Magic Quadrant or Forrester's Wave. If you leave this till the last minute and don’t purposefully carve our time to work on it as a team (product, founder/CEO, etc), your results will reflect that. Let’s give Analyst Relations the attention it deserves. The right strategy elevates your market positioning and ensures your innovations are recognized and recommended by those trusted by your customers. I'm happy to share my tips and tricks if you’re trying to figure out your AR strategy at the moment! #AnalystRelations #MarketingStrategy #BusinessGrowth #BrandPerception

Three methods and tactics you can implement today to help land your dream client... 1️⃣ Approach from Different Angles Knowing who the key decision makers are in that organisation, as well as who it is that is signing off their budget, means you can target multiple people in your outreach. This is especially important in the larger organisations you are trying to land as a potential client. 2️⃣ Showcase Your Expertise Position yourself as a thought leader in your field. Share relevant case studies, success stories, and industry insights that highlight your expertise that bring the client value through ways other than just filling jobs. 3️⃣ Do Your Research Do a deep dive into understanding your dream client's needs, pain points, and industry trends. Tailor your approach to showcase how your services align with their specific goals and challenges. #recruitment #recruitmenttips
