Can you create instant credibility in your cold call openers? Every sales rep knows that momentary pause after you share your opening line with a prospect. That pause right before they say, "Wait, who is this? Why are you calling?" If you want to convert more cold call opens into cold call conversations, work to create credibility by giving prospects something they can connect with immediately. Have case studies and stories ready to share about companies in their industry, a company that shares an investor with the prospect, or one they compete with to create FOMO. Give them a reason to want to learn more.

Sales isn’t just about talking, it’s about listening. Here’s why: -Listening builds trust with your prospect. -You understand their true pain points. -It helps you tailor your pitch perfectly. -You stand out from the competition who only talk. The top salespeople listen more than they speak. Because it leads to more closed deals.

The reason why your prospects don't turn into clients after a 30 minute sales call: They were not financially pre-qualified before hopping on the call with you, Tell me if this sounds familiar, You find your prospects on LinkedIn, or via cold outreach... You convince them to hop on a sales call, You build rapport, discover their problems, you know you can solve it, you present how it's done step-by-step, but then they say.. "Sounds good, I need to think about it" "Now is not the right time" "I need to talk with my partner" "I think I can do it by myself" Listen, I'm not a sales coach... But I know if your leads are not financially qualified, then no matter how good you are at handling objections, they will not close. This is why it's important to pre-qualify your prospects before hopping on a call. Makes sense?

No one enjoys cold calling, but it can be highly effective if you know how to spark curiosity. Here's a simple tip to get more people to talk to you—and close more sales: Most sales reps dread cold calling because they rarely get anyone to engage. The problem? They're taught to introduce themselves like this: “Hi John, this is [Your Name] from XYZ company, and the reason I'm calling is…” This sounds like every other sales pitch, and it immediately puts people on guard. Instead, try this approach: “Is this John? Yeah…John. This is just [Your Name]. I was wondering if you could possibly uhmm help me out for a moment?”(yes use “uhmm” its a pattern interrupt if you use it with a confused tone) Sounding a bit unsure triggers curiosity. When someone seems confused, people naturally want to help. Instead of hanging up, the prospect will likely respond with: • “Sure, how can I help?” • “What’s this about?” • “Who is this again?” Starting a cold call this way avoids triggering resistance and makes it much easier to keep the conversation going. Try it on your next call and see the difference! #sales #coldcall #salestraning

Feeling hesitant about making that next sales call? Cold calling can be tough, I get it. Questions like “What if I mess up my pitch?” or “What if they get upset?” are common. Remember, practice makes perfect. Keep calling, and you'll improve. Eventually, you'll connect with someone who says yes! Don't let fear hold you back from starting a conversation. Not taking action leads to no results, which should be the ultimate fear in sales. Don't let the fear of the unknown prevent you from trying something new and potentially achieving success!

The biggest reason why sales don't happen - people don't make that FINAL call. When you do outreach via email or LinkedIn, the lead is interested, you start having a discussion, and then after the offer is sent, there is silence. You have two options: CONTINUE SENDING MESSAGES DO 1 CALL In most cases, people choose the first one. However, often choosing the second one would save you time and energy because you: - would know how the prospect feels about the deal - would know if you need to follow up more - could explain more about the unclear points - connect much more with your prospect than just cold messages - could close the deal. When it doubt, always make that call. #sales
