I'm halfway through Cal Newport's new book "Slow Productivity," and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in an unconventional approach to tackling more meaningful projects at work. Cal makes a compelling case that knowledge workers should focus on three key principles: 1. Do fewer things. 2. Work at a natural pace. 3. Obsess over quality. These ideas resonate, but they also made me wonder: Can AI actually help us achieve this "slow" approach and help us return to a more human way of working? The irony isn't lost on me, but I believe AI can positively impact each of these principles. By offloading mundane tasks to AI, we can do fewer things, free up time to work at a less hurried pace, and create higher-quality work by leveraging AI as a creative critic. 🤔I'd love to hear your thoughts. How do you think AI will redefine productivity for knowledge workers? #ai #productivity #knowledgework #slowproductivity https://lnkd.in/ee8X8aAR

Helping AEs overcome challenges in technical sales with Docket AI: Your Instant, Knowledgeable Sales Engineer
Impact of Shoulder Tapping on Productivity - In a team of 50+ AEs, over 1,000 buyer questions are generated monthly (me being conservative, 95% of them are repetitive) —each pulling someone away from their focus work. According to a study by Gloria Mark at the University of California, Irvine, it takes an average of 23 minutes and 15 seconds to get back on track after a distraction. Imagine the cumulative loss in productivity! And it’s not just about the questions—content is getting outdated faster than ever, and keeping up with updates is a constant battle. There are easy wins, like automating answering repetitive questions or ensuring sales content is always up-to-date by implementing the right AI-driven sales enablement tools, which can save hours and keep your team focused on what truly matters. When AI is making waves - why not leverage it :) Link to the study - https://lnkd.in/dxarcXxN Link to Gartner Insights - https://lnkd.in/ddaFX5xy #Productivity #SalesEnablement #AI #Efficiency #SalesPerformance

Global Strategic Business HR Leader, CHRO, Author of globally renowned book #planc, Global Speaker, Trainer, Culture Coach and Ideapreneur
Culture Intelligence (CI), as coined by Dr. Sanjeev Dixit, is a strategic capability that enables organizations to understand, integrate, and leverage diverse cultural dynamics to achieve high performance and sustainable culture. It is rooted in the principles outlined in Dr. Dixit’s book PLAN C, which presents a novel framework accredited by the American Institute of Organization Business Psychology (AIOBP). Operational Elements of Culture Intelligence (CI): 1. Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity: • Organizations must develop an acute awareness of cultural differences and sensitivities within and outside the organization. This involves understanding the diverse values, beliefs, and practices of different cultures and how they impact business operations. 2. Cultural Adaptability: • CI requires the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts, ensuring that strategies, communication, and practices align with diverse cultural norms. This adaptability is crucial for global expansion and effective cross-cultural collaboration. 3. Strategic Cultural Integration: • Integrating cultural intelligence into organizational strategy is essential. This involves embedding CI principles into the organizational culture, leadership practices, and business processes to create a cohesive and inclusive work environment. 4. Continuous Learning and Development: • Ongoing education and training in cultural intelligence are vital. Organizations need to invest in developing CI among leaders and employees through workshops, cross-cultural training, and experiential learning. Critical Success Factors: 1. Leadership Commitment: • Successful implementation of CI requires strong commitment from leadership. Leaders must champion cultural intelligence and model culturally intelligent behaviors to drive organizational adoption. 2. Inclusive Policies and Practices: • Establishing policies and practices that promote inclusivity, equity, and respect for cultural diversity is crucial. This includes diverse hiring practices, inclusive communication strategies, and equitable talent development programs. 3. Measurement and Feedback Mechanisms: • To ensure the effectiveness of CI initiatives, organizations should implement robust measurement and feedback mechanisms. This includes regular assessments of cultural climate, employee engagement, and the impact of CI on business outcomes. 4. Sustainability and Resilience: • CI must be embedded into the organization’s DNA to ensure long-term sustainability and resilience. This involves creating a culture that can adapt to evolving cultural dynamics and continue to thrive in a changing global landscape. In essence, Culture Intelligence (CI) as defined by Dr. Sanjeev Dixit, is a comprehensive approach to building a high-performance and sustainable organizational culture that is culturally aware, adaptive, and resilient, as detailed in the PLAN C framework. #drsanjeevdixit #cultureintelligence #planc #culture

Chief Marketing Officer, AI at Work @ Microsoft | Predicting, shaping and innovating for the future of work | Tech optimist
The #FutureOfWork as we understand it today is characterized by rapid change. And with the introduction of #AI, the speed of change is only going to accelerate. How can employees adapt to this change? What skills will be most relevant? In this Fast Company article, Michelle Penelope King (PhD) offers an interesting answer to that pervasive question, and it all boils down to social intelligence. It turns out how we work (particularly with coworkers) will dictate what we can achieve. And in a world where so much of learning and information exchange happens informally at work, it’s going to be more critical than ever for employees to be able to accurately navigate and interpret those interactions. It’s a skill that comes naturally for some, but less so for others. King offers great tips on how to improve your ability to work with others, and shares perspectives on why technological innovations like #AI are actually going to make work more human.

🌟 Unlocking the Power of Positive Organizational Behavior: Transforming Your Culture 🚀 One of my favorite classes in grad school was POB. I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that positive organizational behavior can have on early-stage companies. By fostering a culture that prioritizes employee well-being, purpose-driven goals, and a growth mindset, startups can not only achieve business success but also create a thriving, fulfilling work environment for their teams. So, what does it take to integrate positive organizational behavior into your startup's DNA? 🎯 Align goals with purpose: Encourage your team to set meaningful, purpose-driven goals that align with their values and the startup's mission. When people feel a sense of purpose in their work, they're more likely to be engaged, motivated, and committed to success. 🙌 Celebrate progress and success: Regularly acknowledge and celebrate your team's achievements, both big and small. Foster a culture of gratitude and appreciation, and take the time to recognize individual contributions and team milestones. 🔬 Focus on strengths and growth: Conduct strengths-based assessments to identify your team member's unique talents and potential. Provide opportunities for continuous learning and professional development, and frame challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement. 🏃♀️ Support employee well-being: Implement initiatives that support your team's physical and mental health, such as flexible work arrangements, wellness programs, and mental health resources. When employees feel supported and cared for, they're more likely to bring their best selves to work. 🔄 Embrace continuous improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning and reflection, encouraging your team to share their insights, learnings, and areas for improvement. Seek feedback from your team and stakeholders to continuously enhance your leadership skills and the startup's positive impact. By embedding these positive organizational behavior strategies into your startup's culture, you'll not only drive business success but also create a work environment where your team can thrive, grow, and find fulfillment in their work. 🌱 Let's Talk! https://lnkd.in/e_hqBWDz #startupculture #positiveorganizationalbehavior #employeewellbeing #purposedrivenleadership #growthmindset
