It requires the collective efforts of compassionate individuals like yourselves – individuals who understand that the true measure of a community's strength lies in its ability to uplift its most vulnerable members. Let us stand shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand, as we embark on a mission to provide the less fortunate children with the tools they need to break free from the cycle of poverty. Agency Partner News | Arc4Justice In alignment with their statewide efforts to advance racial equity in the homeless response system, ARC4Justice will be launching a pilot project that will provide coaching, learning opportunities, and support to five selected CoCs as they begin to revise and refine their assessment and prioritization process with a strong emphasis on racial equity. Five diverse communities in Michigan will be selected based on their commitment and capacity to advance racial equity in the coordinated entry system and their willingness to engage in an equitable and inclusive process. Attached please find an introduction document that provides more detailed information about the Assessment and Prioritization Pilot Project including what to expect, level of commitment, and how to express interest. Our program on May 11th covered the issues that communities on the #NotoPeninsula are facing, the continuous efforts to recover, and ways to foster connections between individuals from different generations and geographical areas. Well, if you're the Nurture Nature Center, you use all the arrows in your quiver - science, art, and deep community relationships. Our partners at NNC published an article describing their multi-pronged CREATE project, which did this work in three municipalities in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. Our team's evaluation work makes an appearance too! It shares a high-level view of how we used Ripple Effects Mapping to help the project document the various (and sometimes unexpected) pathways through which NNC's work catalyzed one impact, which led to another, and then another, and then another... It is important to be aware of The Heritage Foundation's 2025 Presidential Transition Project. The project will build on four pillars that will, collectively, pave the way for an effective conservative administration: a policy agenda, personnel, training, and a 180-day playbook. Eliminating civil rights and DEI protections, eliminating no-fault divorce, eliminating the Department of Education, banning African American and gender studies, eliminating social security for the elderly and disabled, eliminating Head Start, banning books about slavery, preventing Muslims from entering the country, eliminating all climate protections. Read the list. Educate yourself. Become active in organizations that are engaged in activism.
