Key questions for OpenAI to ensure safety and transparency in this: What specific safeguards are in place to prevent the AI from sharing sensitive or potentially dangerous information? How will you ensure that the AI cannot be used to assist in the development of biological weapons or other harmful agents? What oversight mechanisms are in place for this partnership, and who will be responsible for monitoring the AI's use in laboratory settings? What fail-safes exist to prevent accidental misuse of the AI in critical laboratory procedures? What ethical guidelines are being followed in the development and deployment of this AI system for bioscience research? What measures are in place to prevent and detect any potential "lab leaks" or accidental releases of harmful agents? How will you educate and train scientists to use the AI system responsibly and recognize its limitations?

Ethical consideration. When healthy lifespans start to extend beyond 100+ years regularly, what will be the impact on: 1) health & life insurance costs. 2) wealth investments & draw down. 3) generational impact to families w/ multiple grand, great-, great-great-, etc. parents on home & living situations. 4) multi-decades of productive creativity output from artists, instead of years. The implications of genAI and then AGI massively improving healthy human lifetimes could be unimaginable. Then again, the robots could just find a way to win. 🤖 After all, survival is indeed a competition, is it not?
