“Therapists assign 4–5 action recommendations each session, but only half of sessions include a review of homework from previous weeks. This oversight unintentionally undermines the impact of our interventions. It’s like leaving a job half done without even realizing it.” - Shiri Sadeh-Sharvit, PhD🎗️, Chief Clinical Officer Our in-house #ClinicalResearch team here at Eleos took a deep dive into the prevalence and impact of “between-session” homework assignments. Using #AI to analyze thousands of real-world therapy conversations, our researchers found that while nearly all client sessions include some form of homework (a.k.a. “action recommendations”), only HALF include any type of follow-up on previous tasks. 😮 Furthermore, increased homework review is linked to better outcomes for patients with mild depression. 💡 In our blog post summary of this study, we sat down with lead researcher Amit Spinrad to peel back the layers on how these findings could transform therapy best practices. 🔗 Peep the comments for the link! #BehavioralHealth #EvidenceBasedPractice #CareQuality
