I love this approach to transparency! Transparency has been crucial in building trust with our stakeholders in the HEOR industry for years. That’s been our strength. It all comes down to a clear, simple idea. The ONE sentence that explains what we stand for and deliver. The Core Idea. For us, it would be: “Show stakeholders that transparency is the foundation of trustworthy research.” You need this clear idea when you’re at the point Where you've got an important study, And you need to make it impactful. You need to know exactly what your main message is. A great way to do that is to create a simple formula for your main idea. Simple yet powerful work in advancing HEOR! #Transparency #HEOR #TrustworthyResearch #StakeholderTrust #HealthcareInnovation

Digital health is gaining worldwide recognition as the key to better health care delivery, opening new ways to deliver care to more people, more efficiently. We are excited to have launched Queensland’s Health Research Digital Ecosystem Capability Statement (statement) and Blueprint for the Future, which will help drive health care value by encouraging collaboration and data sharing between health care and research organisations. This statement will enable health researchers to better navigate digital ecosystems within health and medical research, to safely access and share research materials, all aimed at enhancing health care for Queenslanders. This statement was funded by Queensland Health, bringing together world leading experts from Queensland Health, CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) and The University of Queensland’s Queensland Digital Health Centre (QDHeC). Digital Transformation for Health: The Lancet-FT Commission's Consortium The Lancet and Financial Times Commission, in their report on governing Health Future 2030 emphasized the impact of digital transformations on health. 🧒🏼 The report focused on digitalization's effect on young people's health, proposing urgent action areas for policymakers. Recommendations included prioritizing young people's health in digital health development, reorienting digital technologies towards public value, and recognizing the digital ecosystem as a new health setting. 🤝The Commission highlighted the need for participatory governance, addressing digital divides, and implementing precautionary approaches to digital and data governance. They stressed the importance of considering health equity, democracy, solidarity, and human rights in future-ready governance mechanisms. 📃To further their work, they established the Digital Transformations for Health Lab, aiming to translate recommendations into policies and governance instruments, particularly in countries with large young populations. The Lab seeks to be a dynamic space for collaborative thinking, experimentation, and innovation, involving young people in shaping the future of health. #DigitalTranformation #Health #Future

At #DaiiichiSankyoEurope, we champion the inclusion of patient experiences and opinions during the decision-making process in healthcare. The Office of Health Economics (OHE) recently published a white paper; “Incorporating the Patient Voice in Health Technology Assessment”, commissioned and funded by Daiichi Sankyo. The paper highlights the value of including the patient perspective when making key decisions around new health technology. With input from colleagues from Daiichi Sankyo, the research identifies the ways patient evidence data can bring valuable insight to the decision-making process. Discover the three key benefits of using patient input in the snippets from the paper below 👇 Read the full paper at the link here: https://lnkd.in/grKcyGY7

“Remembering the contribution of health activists like Amit Sengupta and David Sanders to the right-to-health movement is crucial for advancing the struggle for access to medicines” Amitabha Sarkar, PhD (People’s Health Movement). 🛣 In the current framework, “access and innovation do not have a linear relationship, they don’t really come together.” To change that, we need to rethink the trajectory of governance in access to medicines, with increased participation and autonomy of self-governance being a priority. All aspects of pharmaceutics should be treated as Commons, as something that is collective ownership, built from the bottom-up. Until today, the traditional stream of politics prevailed over a more radical change of discourse, including in WHO discussions and documents. Public Sector Strengthening Pathway is urgently needed, including capacity development, epidemiological access mapping, restructuring knowledge management, public investment in public-public partnerships, and more. #publicpharmaeurope
