I’ve been involved in 3 perfect processes recently with clients going above and beyond to ensure they were successful in hiring A-player Senior Quant Power Traders. In each case it was very competitive and involved relocation which adds even more complexity. This is why they were successful; - They moved quickly (processes took less than 2 weeks) - They listened to the requirements of the candidates and tailored the job descriptions to them - The Founder / Directors were heavily involved from the start - They met face-to-face, flew them out, put them up in a nice hotel so the candidate could get an impression of the culture and the city - They offered the best package with generous PnL splits - One client, a Co-Founder of a firm even travelled over 2 hours on a Monday night with 3 members of their team to close the candidate over dinner in a top London restaurant to show how serious they were and to get to know each other outside of work - They all already had a team full of A-players. This is important as A-players only want to work with the best talent. They are also fun to work with which is equally important IMO. I've been diligently working on my skills since i graduated high school. I'm excited to share some of my recent achievements: -June 13th: Became a certified funded trader with Topstep, focusing on futures trading. -June 13th to 28th: Achieved a 9.2% return in less than one month, earning $23k in the markets. -July: Transitioned to full-time trading and left my part-time job as a cook. -July: accumulated over 2.1 million impressions on my professional Twitter account.
