Job Title Quadrant Supervisor Location Sango Ota Description • Ensure that production processes are in place. All machines have their files and are neatly attached to the back of the machine (Engineering, production and QC files). • Ensure cycle times are being met. All products have a standard cycle time that needs to be met. If the cycle time is excessive, this must be escalated to the process technician on shift, if the issue is not resolved it must then be escalated to general supervisor who will take the necessary action. (Each escalation process can not exceed 30 minutes) • Ensure operators are working to the best of their ability. • Monitor operators time keeping and movements. • Ensure that no machines are stopped without a valid reason. • Check if all machines are locked out, if a machine is not locked out, this must be escalated to the process technicians who have the keys. • Ensure scrap rates are kept at minimum (If scrap rates are too high, this must be escalated to the process technician on shift, if the issue is not resolved it must then be escalated to general supervisor who will take the necessary action. (Each escalation process can not exceed 30 minutes) • Quality of products must be in line with company standards. (If quality is unacceptable, this must be escalated to the process technician on shift. if the issue is not resolved it must then be escalated to general supervisor who will take the necessary action. (Each escalation process cannot exceed 30 minutes) • FG and SFG levels should be reported to GS who will arrange the necessary transfer notes to the relevant stores. • Down time hours and reasons are to be tracked and filled out on shift production sheets. • Production sift sheets to be signed off by QS and handed over to GS. • 5s is implemented (With the help of operators) at all work stations (SORT, SET IN ORDER, SHINE, STANDARDIZE and SUSTAIN). • During machine stoppages, operators are to be kept busy, cleaning, clearing, assembly etc. • At the end of each shift a hand over must take place with the next QS on shift. All information and problems must be shared. Requirements Quadrant Supervisory role in a production / manufacturing company. Proximity to job location is Key for consideration. Coordinate with each other to ensure the events organized by respective departments can be carried out thoroughly. 11. Complete the matters assigned by the management level.
