A paper on the recovery of silver from Midsummer's CIGS solar cells has been published in Science Direct. It shows a complete recovery of Ag and ITO particles from a flexible CIGS solar cell with a stainless steel substrate, with purities equal to 95.0 and 70.5 wt%, respectively. Midsummers' solar cells continue to be the probably most recyclable in the world.
