🔴 DG Competition has published today a new report on the evolution of competition in the EU during the past 25 years ⬇ 📃 The report entitled ‘Protecting competition in a changing world’ presents and assesses new research on how the conditions of competition in the EU have evolved as well as the main drivers of those changes. After a long journey shared with Miguel Chaves Parente, Chiara Criscuolo, Josh De Lyon, Andrea Greppi and @Oliviero Pallanch, I am extremely happy to share a new report on the state of competition which underpins this new DG COMP report.    📉 Competition has weakened in EU countries. OECD publications highlighting the importance of competition are always welcome, especially since economies with a higher degree of competition in product and financial markets pay higher wages and salaries and this tend to be more prosperous.
