This is the number 1 reason med tech companies struggle to grow. They don’t know what problem their tech actually solves for people. Like many businesses they are focussed on the solutions they provide, and not the problems they solve. And they certainly can’t communicate that solution in a funny, memorable, or at least stand-out manner. Because of the focus on the solution. They need to learn to speak to the customer directly, through emotion, and not rational reasons to buy a product. It might not feel like the place to start, but that's why so many people get it wrong. Starting with the message or position allows the marketing and sales strategy to reveal itself. Get that strong, emotional hook right in your messaging, rather than trying to shoehorn a load of cliches into a load of standard marketing tropes. Then we can worry about your CRM systems and processes and user adoption. Solve for your customer, and solve the actual problem, not what you might think is the problem. Connect emotionally with your customer and you’ll be in the 1% of med tech companies with powerful marketing.
