Today we honor and remember those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks carried out on September 11, 2001. We also pay tribute to the bravery of our fellow citizens who responded to this tragedy with acts of courage to help save lives and rebuild vital infrastructure.

This year, OCC has welcomed around 35 interns to more than 25 departments to gain hands-on experience working at a central counterparty clearinghouse in the U.S. derivatives market. Our interns collaborated within their departments and across functions to help develop and execute solutions to real challenges facing our business. Over the summer, interns also attended special outings and got opportunities to meet senior leaders, build connections and learn more about our industry.
