Oakland Public Works is recruiting to fill a Project Manager position in our Sewers & Drainage Division. Apply by July 29th to join a team of dedicated professionals doing vital work to maintain Oakland’s critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include: • Performing project management on contracted out mid-sized pipe repair projects, and safety and quality control on internal construction projects • Providing support to the Bureau of Maintenance and Internal Services’ Assistant Director by performing research on permitting and responsibility for after-hours emergency responses • Serving as liaison to utilities and external agencies, relying on a strong background in underground pipe construction, construction management, construction inspection, construction safety and standards, permitting, and inter-agency relations. • Recommending and providing training and staff development • Preparing effective project budgets, schedules, and scopes • Collaborating with stakeholders and team members to formulate strategies, prioritize projects, and devise solutions to overcome obstacles, ensuring that objectives are met. https://hubs.la/Q02GNBb_0
