The Star is a consequence of Australia's new #Casino Paradigm post the crackdown on #CrownCasino promoting gambling illegally in China and the subsequence arrests of casino staff with the image to international players that Australian Casinos operated outside the law. this perception was qualified by the numerous State Government enquiries into how #AustralianCasinos are run and managed with the right to manage the Casinos as fit a proper management tested several times. But now Star has the problem with reporting and a trading halt under the Australian Corporations legal framework. Although Star management is working hard behind the scenes to inject new capital into the business at better terms, from todays #AustralianFinancialReview exclusive it appears that during this trading halt all of Stars credit options were being renegotiated. This in itself maybe a breach of the Duty Care and Skill of the management of #StarCasino as the company has yet to seek the umbrella protection of been placed Corporate Administration. This is in spite of the fact that the Stars Audit by EY raised concerns as to the fact that the Brisbane operations could be considered not to be a ongoing concern. At this stage of the game it is hard to ascertain the degree to which the Duty of Care and Skill has been damaged without a Court Appointed Administrator piercing the Stars Corporate Veil.
