In 2024, western societies seem to be positioned like Schrödinger's cat, simultaneously alive and dead as they are at once free and repressive. Is the West falling under the weight of welfare states and identity politics? Is a society that allows one to invent their gender and requires everyone else to formally acknowledge that invention just as the inventor does really free? Have liberty and libertine been conflated in the same way that equality and equity have? If so, can those confusions be corrected? In this election year as claims are made by all sides as to who represents the true vanguard of democracy, who and what are the real threats to pluralism? Which are the meaningful divides in popular opinion? Under what circumstances can people on either side of those divides co-exist peacefully? Big questions to tackle in advance of big choices to come. Good morning from sunny Autumnal Bahrain. It’s Tuesday 3 October 2023. Douglas MacGregor presents many substantive issues that require profound thinking. I’d like to toss in another. What are Russia, China, India, Iran, mainly, in consultation other key countries like North Korea, Venezuela, Syria and certain African countries considering and deciding, not only over the Ukrainian-Taiwan debacle but for long term stable, prosperous, peaceful and coherent relations amongst the majority of strong countries? What role will they decide for BRICS+? How will it interact with the UN conglomerate or is it the successor? The U.S. is focused on/driven by 2 main forces: war and gender identification. War is the profit maker for an American globalist oligarchy, who clearly own the Democratic Party. Gender Identification is for control of the masses, minds, body & lives. “Let them fight it out amongst themselves” is a diversion to keep the masses from interfering in the real issues. On the issue of “We bought it, we own it” that makes Ukraine (including its citizens) a piece of US property to use, abuse & dispose of as it likes, the second part is “You break it, you own it”. But “We”, the USG owned by its US Globalist Oligarchy, intentionally & with foresight knowingly “broke it” the blame for which will be transferred to the victim that will be belittled, berated & possibly demonized. The broken country then has to fester on its own to the point of no resistance for the US to go in, occupy, reclaim ownership and exploit. One major factor either of concern or for manipulation to retain absolute power & control is an American civil war. If there were another civil war, what would it look like, how long would it last, what would be the consequences and would all those luxurious underground bunkers the elite has built in anticipation of a civil war be discovered? How is your company selling you their investment in your identity? Last year for Juneteenth, REVGEN donated monies to a former black employee's event in celebration. Their CEO and other managers even went to the event to show their "commitment". At the time, I was their only black manager. I refused to be a part of their performance, since there was no real investment in the meaning of Juneteenth. The holiday represents freedom from the continued exploitation of a group for the benefit of profits. REVGEN s involvement was purely for show and for tax purposes...again, this company treats black people like charity. Instead, I took my daughter's to the Atlantic Ocean and explained the connection between our watery vacation and freedom struggles of today. I explained how the ocean floor was littered with bones of those people who fought back through the Middle Passage and others, who were believed to have been disposable due to the charters (companies) misappropriation of resources. How violations of a horrendous nature happened on those waters and that our leisure was made possible with their sacrifice. This is a thread that connects PRIDE, Latino Heratige Month, Memorial Day, International Women's Day, Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, Indigenous Peoples Day and other protected class holidays...sacrifice. I wonder how REVGEN and/or your company will perform civility for you this year? How is your org celebrating the thorny social path of their LGBTQIA team members and what continous efforts are they supporting to make said path less harmful to other humans who are customers and future employees? #PRIDE
