We've completed one hundred Re-NEW-vations across our system! The latest one was completed at Roosevelt Island's F station 🎉 Our Re-NEW-vation program began in 2022 to utilize planned service outages to perform station-wide repairs, enhancements, and deep cleanings. In this case... ✅ 10,000 square feet of surfaces were scraped, primed and painted ✅ 510 light fixtures were cleaned and converted to LED ✅ One hundred square feet of wall tiling was replaced ✅ The entire station was power washed and deep cleaned + MORE!

To celebrate the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returning to NYC on October 15, we partnered with Victoria’s Secret & Co. on limited-edition MetroCards featuring the brand’s signature pink and white stripes! They are now available in select MetroCard vending machines at the following stations: 42 St-Bryant Park (B/D/F/M) 34 St-Penn Station (1/2/3) Atlantic Av-Barclays Center (B/D/N/R/Q/2/3/4/5) Queensboro Plaza (N/W/7) Fordham Road (B/D) This is the first of the last three custom MetroCards to be issued!

R211S trains are now in service on the Staten Island Railway! ✨ These are the first new train cars on SIR in more than 50 years. They’ll replace the R44 fleet, which entered service in 1973. These cutting-edge cars feature wider doors, better travel information, accessible seating, and more!

Just in time for the New York Mets' NLDS home games, McDonald's worked with the MTA's advertising partner OUTFRONT Media to place Grimace decals on all 11 cars of a 7 train. Best of all, Grimace took the 7 from 34 St-Hudson Yards to Mets-Willets Point, meeting fans all along the way! The MTA is ready to help your brand (or mascot) connect with our riders too! Throughout September, MTA Bridges and Tunnels partnered with the New York City Police Department and regional law enforcement partners to stop persistent toll violators and the use of ghost plates.
