Behavioral change is key to sustainable and productive use of Electric 2 & 3 Wheelers in Kenya. This will lead to reduced accidents, deaths, and even medical bills that arise from the same. A key area that needs to be addressed is the operators driving licensing and insurance that will cover the assets, health and life of the operators. In addition, behavioral change will lead to shifting from ICE Models to EVs based on best cases demonstrated on Total Cost of Ownership(TCO) that is appealing for EVs and Gender aspects on the use of 2 & 3 Wheelers that will reduce the number of vices in relation to harassment of female drivers or passengers or cultural barriers to access to finance and asset ownership by women. Well done Kiri EV LTD Roam CS Kipchumba Murkomen

Co-Founder and CEO OYE

Recently WWW.OYE.KE had an OYE Open Day in Molo Nakuru County. We had over 3000 riders attend the event and IRA Kenya, #NTSA, #NHIF, the e-mobility ecosystem led by Kiri EV LTD, Roam, FiKA, and Ampersand E-Mobility. The highlight of the event was when the Cabinet Secretary for Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen made his speech. My favorite quote from him was, 'Do not only ask what your government should do for your safety, ask what you can do for your safety!' Safety was the big theme where we distributed over 2,500 reflector jackets and over 2000 helmets.
