“DOOR”, a browser-based virtual space platform provided by NTT QONOQ, has been adopted by the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a video teaching aid! - Background of the use of DOOR for video teaching materials - Due to the need to respond to the IT society and the importance of learning to question the ability to think and make decisions, the curriculum has been reorganized as “Information I” as a required subject and “Information II” as an elective subject in the new Courses of Study starting in 2022. As a result, programming will be covered in each of these two subjects, so all high school students will learn programming. In order to comprehensively acquire basic knowledge of IT literacy and the skills and thinking ability to appropriately utilize information technology to solve problems, we decided to use the video to introduce the Metaverse, which has been increasingly used in the field of education in recent years. The Education Support Package is a Metaverse initiative on education that utilizes the browser-based virtual space platform "DOOR". -Background on the Provision of Educational Support Packages- In recent years, efforts have begun to utilize the Metaverse to help the ever-increasing number of children who are not attending school.
