Meet 18-month-old Ana and her mother, Daniela. Like so many of our neighbors, Daniela fits more in a day than is seemingly possible. Before the sun rises, she’s up caring for her four young children before eventually heading to nursing school in the afternoon. Her husband, Omar, just finished school to become an aviation mechanic. In the meanwhile, they know they can count on Nourishing Hope’s online market. “𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙨 (𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙) 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙤 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝,” Daniela said. 🧡 Give a little love to the staff and volunteers at Latinos Progresando! Once a month they help Nourishing Hope by distributing food from their building in Marshall Square. After ordering groceries of their choosing via our online market, neighbors come in to pick up their orders. Orders may include fresh produce, frozen meat, dairy products, shelf-stable items and more.
