Yum! The 29th of May each year is National Biscuit Day, so whether you prefer a sweet treat or a savoury cracker, it is the perfect excuse to enjoy as many guilt-free biscuits as you would like! 🍪 It is also half-term for many this week, so why not celebrate the day by baking some biscuits with your young ones? 🥣 This simple recipe can be adapted to suit your taste 👇 Ingredients: 🧈250g butter, softened 🥄140g caster sugar 🥚1 egg yolk 🧪2 tsp vanilla extract 🌾300g plain flour Step 1: Mix the butter and sugar in a large bowl with a wooden spoon, then add the egg yolk and vanilla extract and briefly beat to combine. Step 2: Sift over the flour and stir until the mixture is well combined - don't be afraid to use your hands at the end to give everything a really good mix and press the dough together. Chill the dough for 20-30 minutes. Step 3: Preheat the over to 180C/160C fan/Gas 4. Roll out the dough, cut it into shapes. Bake on a non-stick baking tray for 10-12 minutes until pale golden. Wolfgang Puck's Chicken Parmesan Ingredients: * 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 2 eggs, beaten * 1 cup bread crumbs * 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese * 1 tsp Italian seasoning * 1/2 tsp salt * 1/4 tsp black pepper * 1/2 cup olive oil * 1 cup marinara sauce * 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 2. Place the flour, eggs, and bread crumbs in three separate shallow bowls. 3. In a fourth bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. 4. Dip each chicken breast in the flour, then the eggs, and finally the bread crumb mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. 5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 6. 6. Add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. 7. Transfer the chicken to a 9x13-inch baking dish. 8. Spread the marinara sauce over the top of the chicken, and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. 9. Savory Delight | Cheesy Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms Bursting with Flavor Ingredients: Cheesy Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms 12 large mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped 1/2 cup cream cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 cloves garlic, minced Salt and pepper to taste Olive oil for drizzling Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped spinach, salt, and pepper until well combined. Spoon the spinach mixture into the mushroom caps, filling each one generously. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed mushrooms. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden and bubbly. I baked a great Clafouti aux cerises for Valentine's Day and would love to share the recipe with you. Given that I used frozen cherries, I found it necessary to extend the baking time significantly. Ingredients: icing sugar 1 pinch of salt 60 g caster sugar 100 g flour 40 g semi-salted butter + 20 g for the mold 600 g fresh or frozen cherries 4 eggs 20 cl milk 1 packet vanilla sugar STEP 1 Preheat the oven to 410°F (thermostat 7). Quickly wash the cherries under a stream of cold water, stem and drain them. Personally, I remove the pits, but the traditional recipe calls for leaving them in, so it's up to you whether to leave them or not... Melt the 40 g of butter in a small heavy-bottomed saucepan. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar. Gradually incorporate the eggs and then slowly add the milk while continuing to mix. Add the melted butter. STEP 2 Generously butter the dish, arrange the cherries, and then pour the clafoutis batter over them. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 410°F then lower to 355°F and cook for another 20 minutes. STEP 3 Serve the clafoutis cold or warm, sprinkled with icing sugar.

Sheet Pan Pancakes • Level: Easy • Total: 30 min. • Prep: 10 min • Cook: 20 min. • Yield: 12 servings Ingredients 2 1/2 cups whole milk 2 large eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons baking powder 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 8 tablespoons (1 stick) salted butter, melted 1 cup thick-sliced strawberries 1 cup chocolate chips 1 heaping cup blueberries Butter and warm pancake syrup, for serving Directions Preheat the oven to 425˚ F. In a blender, combine the milk, eggs and vanilla and pulse to mix it well. Add the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt and blend until smooth, 25 to 30 seconds. Pour in half of the melted butter and pulse a few times to combine. Spread 2 tablespoons of the melted butter on a sheet pan, then pour in the pancake batter. Sprinkle the strawberries, chocolate chips and blueberries over the batter in three sections. Bake until golden on top, about 20 minutes. Brush the remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter over the surface of the pancake. Cut into squares and serve with butter and warm syrup!

Ingredients: 1 bar Oobli Crisp 'n Rice 1 cup almond flour + 2 tbsp ¼ cup cacao powder ¼ cup maple syrup 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp peppermint extract Dash of salt Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine the almond flour, cacao powder, maple syrup, olive oil, peppermint extract and salt. Mix until a dough forms. Roll out the dough into a thin layer. Using the top of a small glass (an espresso cup is perfect for this), press the glass into the dough to create cookie circles. Remove the excess dough, place the circles you cut out onto the baking tray, and re-roll the remaining dough 1-2 more times until used up. Bake the cookies for about 8-9 minutes. Watch carefully in the oven so they don’t burn. While the cookies are baking, place the Crisp 'n Rice chocolate into a bowl and microwave on 30 second intervals until completely melted.Remove cookies from the oven and let cool. Once cooled, dip each cookie into the chocolate to coat it completely. Place back on the parchment lined baking sheet to set.
