3 things a thought leader's PR strategy should include. 1. As business owners, a key component of our digital marketing strategy is speaking on summits and podcasts. But are we as prepared as we should be to get the most benefit from that? Here is something you can & should do to increase your odds of success: Know your audience! Understand who you're speaking to so you can tailor your message and use words they'll understand. In preparing our presentations, we sometimes lose site of that. What will they best respond to? What do they want to hear? What is the problem they want to solve? Remember, the average person's attention span is short and your listener will probably want visuals, not a talking head. Take a look at your plan. Check with the summit host and find out what the format is and then think about how you can make that work for you. Are you being interviewed? Are you doing a presentation? Are you a member of a discussion panel? Are you allowed to use tools such as PowerPoint, videos, live websites, etc.? Meet your audience where it is, not where you want it to be. You've got something valuable to offer. Keep making adjustments until you find just the right style and delivery. #magnetixmarketing #onlinesafetysuccess
