Carnival - it's all hustle and bustle, even in the bakery when thousands of "Berloners" or doughnuts of all kinds are baked. The customer locations in the warehouse are too small and the goods often have to be taken away in several trips. In two conversations today, bakers talked about these problems, a product or even a whole stack is forgotten or ends up on the wrong truck. This is exactly where Distrib, the paperless picking system for bakeries from Pcdata, can help. Picking errors are avoided and correct loading can also be monitored. #pcdata #bakery #berliner #donuts #krapfen #carnival #karneval #distrib #bäckerei

How Chinese fireworks sparked inspiration 29 years ago The number of followers and visitors on LinkedIn has grown rapidly. Therefore, we thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves again. Back in 1990, Andre Lesmeister and a companion launched Foody Fresh BV, which paved the way for today's Squiby Foods BV. However, the eruption of the Gulf War in Kuwait forced them to part ways with the company, selling it to another firm. After four years of service with the company, André decided to venture out on his own once more, this time with solo efforts backed by the support of a bank. Thus, Squiby Foods was born. The first order consisted of: → 4 pieces of sole → 2 lobsters → 2 packages of Parmesan cheese → a box of vegetables → 3 jars of mustard Starting out in the attic of his parental home, Squiby Foods later relocated from the Legmeer industrial area via another location in Hoofddorp to its current headquarters. Today, 29 years later, Squiby Foods boasts a 2,500 m2 establishment, complete with expansive cooler and freezer facilities. Its strategic location facilitates transportation by road, sea, and air. Since 1995, we've been supplying wholesalers in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East with the finest European products, offering comprehensive support from food advice to export services. Teaming up with trusted suppliers from Europe, we ensure top-quality dairy, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and grocery items. And what about those Chinese fireworks? A "squib" refers to a Chinese firecracker, loosely translating to "foot seeker" or "food seeker". Integrating this concept with the former company brand - Foody Fresh - birthed the new name. Squiby Foods. #food #foodservice #consolidator #familybusiness #wholesale

Strategic Partnership Leader | Expert in Enhancing Brand Visibility and Revenue Growth through Innovative Collaborations
Redundancies are tough...though they can also allow you to up your baking game and practice your 'Hollywood Handshake'. IYKYK. So whilst my time at TerraCycle has come to an end, this is just the beginning of: 1. Achieving the perfect Focaccia crumb and rise 🍞 2. Finding the optimal temperature to fry doughnuts (it's somewhere around 165C) 🍩 3. Understanding how to create uniform bagels 😋 Carbs aside, I’m taking this plot twist in my stride and firmly believe in the power of new beginnings. If you’ve heard of exciting opportunities in strategic partnerships or relationship management, or if you just want to catch up over coffee (virtually works too!), let's connect! As the great Leslie Knope would say, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." #OpenForWork #NewBeginnings #StrategicPartnerships #Redundancy

Meet Mickey the Moose! High Caliber has created a paper tag as a reminder of the items that you use in your meat processing. Keep your notes handy for any important reminders: what type of casing do we use for sausage? (Natural or Collagen) What size of casing do we use? (Hog, Lamb or Beef Casing or Collagen) what is my favorite High Caliber Spice Blend? High Caliber contact information is on the back of this tag for easy reference. Hang this tag where you can easily see it…on your sausage stuffer, on your meat grinder, on the cupboard door handle, on your favorite coffee mug, on the pepper container…the list is endless! AND, who can resist Mickey the Moose's unforgettable face? Awww, we know. Just add this tag to your order, and we will include it for FREE! https://lnkd.in/gYJeuX8w Or come in and see us in Calgary or Edmonton, where we will personally hand it to you! #highcaliberproducts #mickeythemoose #highcaliber #sausagestuffer #sausagecasing #homemadesausage #notecards #reminders #meatprocessing #processing #hunters #butchers #chefs #canadahunting #canadianbusiness #foodies

Photo from a Litti Chokha food joint in HSR Estimate the scale of their daily sales volume by looking at the chutney utensils, cut onions, plates, and number of service employees. Pointers to help - 1. They charge Rs 110 per plate of 2 littis 2. Have about 7 service employees - 2 folks man the Litti angethi(the cooking), 1 man takes pre-rolled littis and places them on the angethi 1 mans the Billing counter, and there are 3 people serving the customers, out of which 1 is dedicated to packing it for take-away orders 3. They're the only one selling Litti on that street, and maybe just two or three vendors who serve street littis in the entirety of HSR Let the guessing begin.

🤔“Do you REALLY know how to make dumplings?” 9 FANCY Dumpling Wrapping Techniques 👇 Dumplings – is a MUST to my family, among the most important home-cooked dishes from my childhood. So, of course I thought I knew how to make dumplings the *Chinese way*, until I saw this video... Mind-blowing 🤯 Personally, I’ve only tried 1 way... But actually - this doesn’t even cover all the different ways to make dumplings, since it can vary based on region and even family too! (with their own unique approaches) Let me introduce you to a few MORE ways: 💧Boiling - the most typical one, boil dumplings in water until they float to the surface. (Secret tip: adding a pinch of salt to the water. That way, it prevents them from sticking to the pot, and ensures chewy texture without breaking the skin.) 🔥 Steaming - more of a dim sum way! 🍳 Pan-Frying - add some oil to fry them in a pan, then slowly add some water, and put a lid on. Wait until they’re golden brown + crispy on the bottom, done! 🍲Adding to soup - this is called 汤饺 (Tāng jiǎo). Whether it’s adding them to Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, or Fresh Soup, they all make for perfect belly-warming dishes during the winter. Dumplings not only have the shape of the Chinese ancient “yuan bao” (gold ingots), making it a symbol of good fortune... But it’s also a convenient and hearty dish to make on a Friday! Do you love dumplings too? What’s your favourite way to make them? Share with us! 🥟 Arnold Ma #china #culture #food
