MEDDICC continues to be one of the most polarizing topics in sales. Sellers seem to either love it or hate it. Regardless of how you feel about it personally, the fact is it is widely used by sellers and sales orgs and in my experience it works, when done right. The biggest mistakes I see sellers make is not understanding it or simply “filling in the blanks” to move ahead in the sales process. But MEDDICC is not a sales process or sales methodology. It is a qualification framework that sellers and revenue orgs use to help qualify opportunities, identify gaps in deals, and improve forecasts. When done right, it creates meaningful conversations with prospects and customers to ensure their needs are being heard and met in a sales cycle, while also setting proper expectations for the path forward on both sides. But don’t just take my word for it. Join Ascender this Friday, July 12 at 9 MT to learn best practices for using the MEDDICC deal qualification methodology as part of their "Qualify and Close with MEDDICC" webinar https://lnkd.in/gPXpxywf What are your thoughts on MEDDICC? #AscenderPartner

MEDDIC framework has become almost essential in software sales. But there's an interesting question: Where do Sales Engineers (SEs) fit in? "Should we officially include our SEs when adopting MEDDIC?" Let's be honest - SEs are the brainpower making complex deals happen. They're the trusted technical experts that clients rely on. So, doesn't it make sense to fully involve them in your MEDDIC process? In the below episode of "The MEDMAN Show"Andy Whyte and Pim Roelofsen talk about the key role SEs play for smooth deal closing and how useful it is to speak the "same language" when it comes to deal cycle. For any SE leader wanting to maximize their team's impact across sales cycles using this powerful method, this is a must-watch. We also absolutely loved the F1 referece 🏎 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ecBTFZFK

I would take three sales professionals who are masters at MEDDIC over 100 who don't use the MEDDIC Framework. The video below is a good illustration of what experience and expertise make.
