Lightweight Gravel Electric Bike Boosts Range by 50% Italian bicycle manufacturer 3T has launched a new model of their Gravel electric bike, which is 12 kilograms lighter than its predecessor and also boasts an increased range. The key components of the RaceMax Boost include the Mahle hub motor (X-20), a 150-kilometer range battery, and a carbon fiber frame. The battery capacity has been increased from 236 Wh to 350 Wh. Despite the larger battery, the frame material keeps the Gravel e-bike relatively lightweight. Additionally, there is an option to attach a 173 Wh bottle battery to extend the range per charge, though this will add 1.1 kilograms to the overall weight. The annual Taipei International Cycle Show (TAIPEI CYCLE), held from March 6th to March 9th, 2024, at Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, was a grand success. It attracted a total of 950 domestic and international exhibitors, utilizing 3,500 booths. The exhibition scale has grown by nearly 15% compared to last year and 5% compared to pre-pandemic levels. Internationally renowned brands such as MERIDA, GIANT, KMC, SRAM, and SHIMANO were all present. This year's exhibition centered around four main themes: "Micro Mobility," "Green Practices," "Innovation and Startups," and "Cycling Culture and Lifestyle," showcasing the complete industry chain and echoing the global trend towards sustainability with various activities. The Taiwanese bicycle industry experienced a decline in both the export volume and value of complete bicycles and parts in 2023 due to inventory adjustments. However, industry experts predict that the worst may be over, with expectations of inventory digestion in the latter half of this year. As the bicycle industry aligns with the global trends of sustainable decarbonization and healthy active living, it is expected to continue growing in the future. A Journey of Persistence and Dreams 🌟 Embarking on a quest to share the craftsmanship and elegance of Ron Cueva 1501 took us on an unexpected adventure. Our journey to Austria for the Tasting Days fair turned into a tale of resilience and determination. Starting from Denmark, our spirits were high, but fate had other plans. A car breakdown due to an add-blue system failure tested our resolve. With only 800 km left before the car might refuse to start, we swiftly changed vehicles, optimistic about the road ahead. Yet, challenges persisted. Around Hannover, the second car experienced a fuel injection error, limiting the engine's power. Towing it to a workshop, we faced uncertainty. However, our commitment to presenting Ron Cueva 1501 remained unshaken. A night in a hotel, a fixed car the next morning—our spirits were mended, and we resumed our journey to Austria. Despite the setbacks, we managed to arrive at the fair, albeit four hours later than planned. This journey mirrors the story of Ron Cueva 1501—a narrative of two brothers persisting through challenges, unwavering in their commitment to fulfill a dream. The odds were against us, but we stand resilient, sharing our passion for crafting dreams and bottling elegance.
