More Kalmar electric big Forklifts in operation  

Today’s deliveries heading out to waiting customers 🚛 In the forefront is a Kalmar FRL618i loaded on the semi-trailer on its way to a waiting customer. In the background is a Kalmar DRG450-65S5X reachstacker soon to be loaded on a big heavy low-loader. The Kalmar product forms a big part of our branding profile for the simple reason, that it is a very big part of our company in terms of activity and economy. We are in a hurry delivering all sorts of big machinery all over the world before the Christmas holiday starts 🎄 Normally we tend to deliver all refurbished units with our own logistics fleet, but this week we decided otherwise. We had sold a SveTruck 25120-42 forklift to a new client in France, and normally this would be delivered by our own driver in on one of our heavy-duty Volvo FH16-650 tractors with 4-axle low-loader. We are, however, very focused on our carbon footprint. We go to great lengths to make sure that we contribute to a sustainable future. Therefore, this particular forklift was shipped by sea from Port of Esbjerg, Denmark to Zeebrügge in Belgium. In Belgium it was loaded by one of our regular transport suppliers, who undertook to deliver the unit directly to the customer site. Delivery time in this case was an added bonus. Due to the route chosen, we were able to “bypass” the otherwise compulsory on-road permit circus in Germany, where heavy-haulage permits can take ages to get approved.
