Excited to be talking at Mindstone NY AI meetup tomorrow. I opened a pull-request for this meetup 5 days ago, where I was able to connect our open source AI agent into the Terminal Pro. This shows not only how the OpenBB Terminal Pro has an architecture that supports custom LLMs being easily brought in. But also shows that by having that connectivity open source, developers can contribute different copilots (doing internal RAG or fine-tuned version) to our repository and making it widely available to OpenBB users. It was a captivating and enriching experience for all involved and a number of diverse topics were exchanged. · Knock on effect of Usability, adaptability, and productivity due to micro customization and over-engineering of products and platforms. · Roadblocks to AI Adoption include ownership, legal and budget considerations, protecting downsides, and Regulatory & Compliance hindrances in regulated industries like financial services. · Shortcomings in justifying ROI and Value articulations to businesses for large-scale adoption of Customer data platforms and AI · Common disbelief to use of embedded GenAI models from SaaS products due to limitations in shared ownership, controls, biases, copyrights & infringement issues.  · Effects of Shadow IT due to its proximity, speed, flexibility, and business ownership.
