Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), Govt. of India visited the NHPC pavilion in RE Invest 2024 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He was apprised about NHPC's current activities and initiatives in Renewable Energy Development by Shri R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC. Secretary (Power), GoI commended NHPC for their efforts and assured the Ministry of Power's support for NHPC's ongoing and future activities. Shri V.R. Shrivastava, ED, REGH and Shri U.S. Sahi, ED (CC) were also present during discussion. In a significant step towards completion of #NHPC‘s 2000 MW Subansiri Lower HE Project, the erection of last Draft tube gate (24th) has been completed today i.e. on 16.09. 2024 in presence of Sh. Rajendra Prasad, Executive Director & HOP Subansiri Lower HE Project. This work has been completed ahead of schedule with well coordinated and dedicated efforts of NHPC team, HM Contractor M/s Texmaco and Civil Contractor M/s PEL inspite of extreme difficult working conditions due to restricted approach. #hydropower #RenewableEnergy #GreenEnergy #nhpc #Sustainability
