And the good news is that you don't need years and years of commercial results to win most awards - there are even awards for businesses that have only recently been established. So long as you can prove that it's working and people want to buy it and pay for it then you're in a good place to start winning. This short video explains how you can seek recognition, whatever the age of your business. #Awards #BusinessAwards #AwardWinner

I keep winning awards! I am constantly getting messages and emails about awards I am nominated for or have won. Most award shows have become a very false and paid for business. It's a pay to play business usually make no mistake. We all push this narrative of "award-winning".. If it's genuine, kudos. But typically it's just a money spinner. Buy x tables and x numbers of seats. And you'll magically win the award 😅 Most awards shows from my experience are usually created by businesses within that industry. Who are looking for revenue, clients, networking etc. Have you experienced this?

Helping hospitality directors optimise EBITDA & propel operational excellence with a continuous improvement approach focused on driving engagement. Diagnostics | £ Tracked Action Plans | Unique Optimisation Framework
"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together" - VVG How about.. "Perfection is a lot of little things done right" - MPW Promise I'm not joining the social media quote pushers...but it does illustrate a point. Whilst we are engaging our teams to drive revenue and maximise sales in this new year. What could the rest of the team be supporting you with right now? How about the 20 / 20 challenge.... no not the drink (showing your age there!) Task your team to find 20 things that save the business at least £20 per week, must be initiatives that can be measured and sustained. Think - wastage (include time), energy, consumable misuse and alternatives, review your non-value adding activities or maybe just fix those fobbing beer taps (BTW that's more than £20 a week! 🙄) Collective minds will find loads of things… Record, measure and track to ensure P&L benefit. Sounds pretty simple, it is. Just get behind it and incentivise. 20 x £20 a week = £20,800 a year profit. Got 5 sites.....lets put that £100k to good use! Want some advice on how you tackle the big stuff? Send me a message and let’s have a chat. www.H-B-S.co.uk P.S - A prize from my "mystery box" to anyone who can put names to the quotes 😉

We are officially a B Corp 📣 🎉 We’re incredibly proud to announce that Lesniak Swann has joined the ranks of some of the UK’s most responsible companies to become a B Corp (B Lab UK). We’ve joined an exclusive list of 16 B2B marketing agencies who are B Corp, fundamentally shifting how we work to prioritise operating in a wholly purpose-driven way, while aspiring to do no harm and benefit all. B Corp certification is an intense process, which saw our Account Director Jo Holdcroft spend more than 500 hours collating evidence for over 150 criteria to achieve the certification. This included details on how we have created a positive workplace experience for employees, and the process for choosing suppliers ethically, whilst also making operational and behavioural changes to support a low carbon footprint. We’re incredibly proud of this award and in joining a global community with a clear mission to create a better world, and for creating a positive workplace experience for all our colleagues, customers and partners. Our monthly Definitii B Corp webinar is this Thursday - if you are curious to learn how to use the B Corp assessment to measure your social and environmental impact, or you are interested in the B Corp movement & community, or are interested to know how this could help your company, or you are feeling overwhelmed about the B Corp process…. then this webinar is for you. The reason I am so passionate about B Corp is I truly believe it opens doors in companies to have conversations about every part of your business. To challenge or question how you’ve always done things, or to see if you could improve in certain areas of your company that you know would benefit people & our planet. The Business Impact Assessment (BIA) is something I believe all companies should get curious about even if they want to get certified or not. It’s a really holistic way of creating positive change and to really be for the greater good of all. It’s a free tool that holds so much value and every time I take a client through it they absolutely transform themselves, their beliefs, their thinking and ways of doing things. There is so much noise out there about how companies need to be better from a social & environmental point of view yet it can leave you feeling overwhelmed about where to start and what actually to do. I believe we all want to change (even though it’s tricky sometimes) and we have the ability to change but most of the time we don’t have the right community supporting us to change or have the right tools for change - B Corp provides both a great community and a great tool for change that’s why I’m a big fan! Look forward to seeing you on the webinar. Michelle x

The Prestige Awards celebrates businesses and individuals that consistently offer excellent products and services to local residents, ex-pats and tourist visitors alike. The awards team conduct extensive research to identify the major cities and regions around the world with a vibrant SME community and independent scene. They believe that SME businesses are the backbone of any economy, whilst also typically reflecting the unique characteristics of its particular city or region. Osmaan Mahmood, is the Founder & CEO of Prestige Awards. Prestige readers are invited to nominate businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months. All shortlisted companies put forward in the Prestige Awards are asked to support their nomination with evidence of their work, positive feedback from their clients, information on previous accreditation and recognition as well as highlighting the most outstanding parts of their businesses. The judging panel base their decisions upon areas such as service excellence, quality of the product/service provided, innovative practices, value, ethical or sustainable methods of working, as well as consistency in performance. The winners selected are those who can best demonstrate their strengths in these areas. All winners are featured in a celebratory awards magazine, published both digitally and in print, which is circulated to Prestige subscribers. #Canadaprestigeawards, #corporatelivewire, #celebratesmallbusiness, #prestigeawards https://lnkd.in/gPqafKur
