Last week, we dedicated a special day to honor and celebrate our incredible staff! 🌺🌟
A big thanks to MASP Director Lexxi for putting together this fantastic Hawaiian-themed day! The staff enjoyed games and contests like Limbo, 'Guess How Many Candy in a Jar,' and more.
To show our thanks for their hard work, we're thrilled to announce that our staff appreciation parties will now be held quarterly, to appreciate each organization member's dedication and passion in helping us create a better future for everyone. We are incredibly grateful to you all!
When it comes to showing recognition for the good work people do, bigger isn't always better.
Sure, accolades and awards can be great.
But have you ever had someone tell you how grateful they are for you?
No spot lights.
No LinkedIn post.
No blasting it on the company email chain.
Just one-on-one,
Telling someone how special they are.
Now that's something people never forget.
You see,
Many managers think showing recognition has to be this big public occasion.
They'll go through all the trouble to show recognition,
But won't take the little step to thank someone privately.
Here's a groundbreaking thought ... do both!
Do the big stuff sure,
But remember it's the private stuff that feels really meaningful.

I want to start this week by sharing a personal story that reminded me of the importance of celebrating small wins in our lives and careers.
My wife has been trying to make popovers, a type of pastry that requires a lot of precision and patience, in our smart oven. She has done this numerous times. She followed the recipe and the instructions, but they never came out right. They were either too flat or too dense.
She was about to give up, but she decided to give it one more try with the traditional oven. And guess what? They were perfect! They were golden, crispy, and airy, just like the ones we had at a bakery. We enjoyed them with some butter and jam, and it was a delicious treat.
This made me think about how sometimes we overlook the small wins in our lives, and how they can have a bigger impact when they add up. The same goes for our jobs. What we do sometimes might seem small in scale or scope, but every win is important and contributes to our overall goals and vision.
That's why I think it's important for managers to recognize and appreciate the small wins of their teams, and celebrate them together. A team that grows together, wins together. A team that celebrates together, stays together.
So, I want to ask you: What are some small wins that you are proud of this week? How do you celebrate them with your team? Let me know in the comments below, and let's spread some positivity and gratitude!
Good News Friday! Hope everyone has had a great week and as I think of that, a great week does not have to be that everything went really well. This week could have had some tough times, some tough days, but how you came thru it helped build you for the next tough time, tough day. There is good in that!
So, Good News Friday for me has always been about celebrating others on a team. Your team has worked hard for you Mr./Mrs. Leader. They have done over the top things you don't know about, moved things in their personal life to help you and the organization be successful. They have done the work. So what is next...........glad you asked, celebrate them!
In my past roles, I have taken Friday as the time to celebrate team members wins by sending out an email to not only the entire team, but to regional and national leadership within an organization. What qualifies as good news?
🙌 Securing a meeting with a prosect the team member has been working on for weeks/months.
🥂 Team member securing an agreement or renewal.
🌟 Completing a training.
😁 Meeting an individual goal.
🤹♀️ Team member who gone above and beyond their usual duties.
👌 Team member who has volunteered in the community.
👏 Somone's son/daughter graduation.
You know your organization culture better than I do, so there are many other things you can celebrate your team members for.
So if you are doing this, how can you do it better? If you are not, will you commit to start and see employees want to come to work, want to work hard, and stay longer?
I have a great article by Leapsome that speaks to the basics of starting this to implementing it, and I hope you give it a read. You can find it at https://lnkd.in/g8H3CwqC.
Have a powerful Friday everyone! If your organization needs a speaker for an upcoming internal event or you would like to know my thoughts on how to celebrate your people, reach out to me!

When you love who you work with…
Every day feels more fulfilling
Every task seems more manageable
And every goal appears more achievable.
It’s not just about having fun, it’s about celebrating together.
Celebrations bind us, reminding us that our efforts have meaning beyond the bottom line.
They reinforce our connections and energize us to push forward, together.
So, take a moment to look around at your team.
These are the people who battle alongside you in the trenches, who share in your struggles, and who cheer on your victories.
And remember, celebrating doesn’t require a fancy gala or big party.
Small acknowledgments can have a big impact.
A spontaneous lunch, a team shout-out in a meeting, or a simple thank-you note can uplift spirits and strengthen bonds.
Do what works for you, but most importantly, remember:
Celebrate every win, big or small.
Congratulate, Celebrate, Be Happy for Others, Love for others what you would love for yourself. 👏🏻
In our fast-paced, achievement-driven world, it’s easy to get caught up in our own successes and goals. But taking a moment to congratulate others can have a profound impact—not just on those we acknowledge, but on ourselves as well.
From personal experience, I’ve found that congratulating others brings a sense of fulfillment and connection. It shifts our focus from competition to collaboration, reminding us that success is not a zero-sum game. Every “Congratulations!” we extend is a step towards building a more inclusive and motivating community.
So, the next time a colleague reaches a milestone, a friend lands a new job, or someone you know achieves something great, take a moment to celebrate with them. You’ll be surprised at how much it enriches both their journey and yours. 🚀
Create a culture of appreciation in your team with ...
Appreciation Trophies 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Here are the rules:
✅ Anyone can gift a trophy to someone you appreciate for the smallest things (like holding the door open for you, being a really good listener in a conversation, or bringing a coffee to your desk, etc).
✅ When you receive a trophy, take a deep breath and acknowledge the feeling of being appreciated.
✅ Then you get to gift it to the next person until everyone has received a trophy.
Let me know if you try it 🙂

The galas,
It was quite an eventful night.
I had the moment to catch up with people on meaningful convos. It was also a time to showcase one's aesthetic moves on the dance floor. 🕺💃
I had dart game challenge with a colleague [a fellow soldier in the field in another city]. The major highlight of the night for me was the presentation of awards, while it may seem like a night of fun and entertainment, there's actually a lot of value in gala night hosted by companies.
I gained the following insights:
🤳Awarding your staff is an important way to show them that their efforts are valued and appreciated. It's also a great way to motivate them to continue performing at their best.
🤳When employees feel recognized and rewarded for their hard work, they're more likely to feel invested in the company's success and motivated to do their best.
🤳It also help create a positive work culture, where employees feel encouraged and supported. And, of course, the recognition can go a long way towards making your employees feel good about themselves and their contributions. And these can lead to better collaboration, increased productivity, and a stronger sense of teamwork. You need to see the moments I captured below. 😁
Dear Chemical and Allied Products Plc My Kindest Regards for the opportunity. 🙏🏽
Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes 🌟
Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate some very special people in our company — the ones who often work quietly behind the scenes but whose impact is felt everywhere.
Imagine how powerful it is to work in a place where everyone feels appreciated, no matter their role or title. It’s a place where people are motivated not just by their paycheck but by the feeling that they are part of something bigger, that their work is making a difference. That’s the kind of culture we should all strive to build — one where recognition is not just a formality but a heartfelt expression of gratitude.
Recognition isn’t just about giving credit where it’s due — it’s about truly seeing and appreciating the individuals who make our company what it is. When we take the time to acknowledge the efforts of our non-management team members, we’re not just boosting morale; we’re showing them that their contributions matter, that they are valued, and that they are essential to our success.
So, here’s to the people who show up every day with dedication and drive, who put their heart into their work, and who help us achieve our goals. Your efforts might not always be in the spotlight, but they are deeply valued and appreciated. Thank you for everything you do. 💙👏
Let’s continue to celebrate each other and make our workplace a place where everyone’s contributions are recognized and cherished.

Celebrate Every Milestone!
In our fast-paced world, it’s all too easy to focus on what we haven’t accomplished rather than acknowledging the strides we’ve already made. We tend to be our own harshest critics, often overlooking the progress we’ve achieved, no matter how small it may seem.
Every milestone—big or small—deserves recognition. Whether you’ve completed a project, learned a new skill, or simply made it through a tough week, take a moment to celebrate these accomplishments. It's this recognition that fuels motivation and positivity, helping us maintain momentum on our journeys.
So, let’s shift our perspective! Instead of fixating on what’s left to do, let’s appreciate how far we've come. Share your wins, no matter how minor they may feel. Encourage your colleagues to do the same and create a culture of celebration around growth and progress.
Together, let’s uplift one another and celebrate each step in our journeys!
What milestones are you celebrating this month?
