Deadline for EPA method 320 comments is next Tuesday! The thing that I dislike about this revision the most is that it affects NSPS 40 CFR 60 Subpart JJJJ and NESHAP 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ but in a back handed way. The revision says "EPA identified ASTM D6348 as being potentially applicable, the Agency does not propose to use it." In no time the overlapping state laws will make this an imposible approach. If the USEPA published a revision to NSPS 40 CFR 60 Subpart JJJJ removing the use of ASTM 6348 it would receive an overwhelming number of comments. So far they have received only 7. Just as energy demand continues to soar in the U.S., the EPA finalized new regulations for existing coal plants and new natural gas-fired units that will decrease access to reliable energy sources when we need them most. Sunflower believes in an all of the above energy approach and uses a portfolio of natural gas, coal, wind, and solar to reliably meet our members’ electric needs at the lowest possible cost. Electric utilities like Sunflower and our member distribution cooperatives shouldn't have to choose between decarbonization and providing consumers with reliable access to electricity to power their lives. #Voices4Coops
The EPA has released new regulations that will close always available power sources and make it harder to build new ones. #KeepTheLightsOn 🚨 Speak out and tell Congress to stop these regulations and support policies that keep the lights on: https://bit.ly/3QMvCcH
