As a woman-owned business, netlogx is eager to celebrate #WomensEqualityDay! Today commemorates the addition of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote in the United States. We acknowledge the hard efforts and strides that every woman has made in the name of feminism and equality. This holiday allows us to reflect on the sacrifices and highlight the importance of all the trailblazers who came before us. Their dedication and drive inspire us every day.

It's #WomensHistoryMonth! A time when we celebrate the contributions and achievements of women in our society, and also a moment to acknowledge the systemic barriers that prevent many women from reaching their full potential. Women’s incarceration rates have been growing at twice the rate of men’s over the past few decades, which means the barriers to employment, safe housing, and new opportunities continue to grow. Not only do those barriers affect women, but research shows that when women are shut out of the workforce, children are far more likely to end up in poverty. At The Clean Slate Initiative, we’re working to ensure millions of women with records have the support they need to achieve their goals. We do this by advancing Clean Slate automatic record clearance to ensure everyone has fair access to a #secondchance. #CleanSlate advocate, Alaina, shares part of her story and the powerful impact Clean Slate policies have on women, children, families, and our communities. https://lnkd.in/epUdWBTx

At Women of ITSM, our focus is justice, but we are starting with equity. Eventually, we want to fix the system so women have the same rights, access and opportunities... that our male counterparts have today. 👀 Here's a fantastic image that explains the difference between equality, equity and justice. #womenofitsm #justice (image from: https://lnkd.in/gahDv4ef)

It began with five reform-minded women inaugurating the first women's rights convention with over three hundred who lit the flame of activism for women's rights. It took 72 years to accomplish the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920, which granted women the right to vote. A small number can cultivate positive and significant change. Achieving positive and significant change requires the perseverance to finish what one starts, overcoming all obstacles. What significant change can you and a small number of people accomplish in your organization, community, the world? So many of our Freedoms are on the ballot this year, and equal rights for women are at the very top of that list. "If you wanted to design a presidential ticket most likely to offend women voters, you would pick as the presidential nominee an adjudicated rapist who boasts about taking away women’s bodily integrity. Then, for vice president, you would find someone who has implied women should to stay in abusive relationships, wants to ban abortion even in cases of rape and incest, accuses single women of lacking a stake in America’s future, votes against protection for in vitro fertilization and wants higher taxes for childless people." #project2025
