Microsoft Defender 365 has now become Microsoft XDR, not just a name change though this time (I know, the name change jokes are OLD now!) Now Microsoft XDR includes data from: Defender for Cloud - which includes resources from Azure, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud to start Microsoft Sentinel - Data from almost any log source Security Copilot works across all this telemetry data to make Microsoft XDR the first place to go for threat investigations. What this means for me: 1. More sources of Telemetry data beyond M365 in an easier to use place 2. Faster to find indicators of compromise and faster to respond 3. Automation to stop known attacks without human intervention 4. When I don't understand what is happening then Security Co-pilot makes it faster for me to analyse what is happening and generate KQL much beyond my basic capabilities. Did you know?    Azure Key Vault allows you to store and protect your cryptographic keys, secrets, certificates, and API keys, ensuring secure storage and management.    It prevents the exposure of credentials and keys in code by allowing secure access to the Vault to retrieve the secrets, with access being governed by Managed Identities and RBAC.    Key Vault also integrates with other supporting Azure services, for example, Private Link, and you can pull access logs into your Microsoft Sentinel instance through diagnostic settings to be monitored by your Security capability.   Manage and rotate secrets seamlessly to keep your applications secure.   #microsoftsecurity #azuresecurity #keyvault
