Yesterday Neighbourly joined organisations from across Bristol for the launch of the OurCity2030 campaign, championed by our client AtkinsRéalis. The campaign aims to open up employment opportunities and leverage social value commitments in the Built Environment to address inequalities in the city. It was fascinating to hear from participants in the Babbasa programme, a local social enterprise that supports young people with their professional aspirations, and learn about the specific challenges Bristol faces, set against the wider backdrop of nationwide funding cuts and a challenging business environment. It was great to see Atkins Realis champion greater cross-industry collaboration with real passion, and authenticity and we look forward to seeing how the #OurCity2030 campaign progresses.
