Franchise Consultant - 25 Years Helping People Create More Freedom, Flexibility & Financial Independence for Themselves & Their Families Through Franchise Ownership
Over the years I've noticed a common cycle among aspiring entrepreneurs: a spark of interest in business ownership arises, only to be shelved as daily routines take over. This cycle can repeat for weeks, months, or even years, with the dream resurfacing sporadically without ever really taking flight. But the path to successful business ownership doesn't accommodate the status quo. It demands consistent effort and prioritized research. Business ownership is not all 🌹and 🌈, but chasing your dreams and being in control of your future is far more satisfying than settling for a job that has no chance of leading you to the lifestyle you want. If you've been thinking about becoming a business owner, I encourage you to break the cycle of "someday" by reaching out for a 15 minute virtual coffee with me to see if business ownership is right for you. Let’s get moving! #Entrepreneurship #BusinessOwnership #Franchising #TakeAction #FranchiseOpportunitiess

“The thing about being a small business is that Lesli and I were able to take the good and the bad from our past jobs and experiences and make this our own. This is our company. Our employee said ‘Y'all treat me like family and do things for me that my past bosses wouldn't do.’ We do consider him family. He needed a ride to work one day because his car was in the shop. I offered to pick him up and he said ‘You would do that?’ Why not?” We’ve worked with so many clients who feel it’s important to create their own culture in their business. Sometimes, this is one of the driving factors for them in having a business. We all have experiences that may or may not be positive when we work for others. We can work to create our own dreams or we can work to help someone else create their dream. The choice is ours. If you had your own business, what would you do differently based on your experiences working for someone else? I think passion is overrated. There, I said it. But don't mistake my message. I'm not saying that passion isn't important...but I AM saying that the importance of passion is often misunderstood. This idea that our business needs to be related to our personal passions is incredibly misguided. Do you think the founder of Andy Gump port-o-potties was passionate about helping people take a dump? Probably not. So why did he start the business? I'm guessing because he WAS able to get passionate about the opportunity. ✅ The opportunity to build a business. ✅ The opportunity to take life into his own hands. ✅ The opportunity to create time freedom. ✅ The opportunity to spend more time with family. ✅ The opportunity to create jobs. ✅ The opportunity to offer his community (and eventually communities beyond) a needed service. So don't get so hung up on the "widget" or service your business is offering. You don't need to be head over heels in love with the product or service you're offering. The secret lies in discovering what truly motivates you within the business, whether it's the connections you make or the positive impact you create in your community. Chevron Engineer for ~10 Years | Empowering Senior Executives to Business Ownership | Franchisee at MaidPro | Dad of 3 👭🏻
Imagine a world where fear doesn't dictate our actions 💭🤔 While hiking on Sunday, I stumbled upon a thought-provoking question nailed on a bridge: 'What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?' It struck a chord deep within me, resonating with the #fears that often hold my clients back from pursuing their #entrepreneurialdreams. As a #franchiseconsultant, I've always emphasized the importance of #riskmitigation and #creatingasolidplan. However, this quote inspires a powerful shift in #mindset. It urges us to address the underlying fears that might be silently limiting our potential. Let's embrace a more #positiveapproach, dare to #dreambig, and #striveforgreatness. Together, we can #conquerfear, unlock our #truepotential, and embark on a journey of #entrepreneurialsuccess. What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail? If you’ve been out of work for a while, you start to watch money going out without money coming in. This is a scary time for many people. When this happens, people tend to jump to the quickest and easiest solution. Putting their goals & dreams on hold and going back to Corporate America. Rushing the process is one of the biggest mistakes I've seen people make when buying a franchise after they've been laid off. Take your time to do your research and don’t give up on your dreams!
