We are thrilled to share the successful start-up of a truly groundbreaking project that plays a crucial role in supporting the rapidly growing Stanton Springs area in Newton County, Georgia. As a renowned high-tech and bio-pharma industrial park, Stanton Springs is undergoing remarkable expansion, attracting major businesses like Takeda, Meta (Facebook), and Rivian.
At GWES, we understand the significance of providing essential services to sustain the growth and development of such dynamic regions. To meet this demand, we took on the challenge of engineering an 86" casing pipe, with the remarkable feat of tunneling beneath I-20. This innovative infrastructure will carry 16" Industrial Wastewater, 16" Sanitary Sewer, and a 16" Re-Use Force Main, ensuring that the industries and businesses in the area have the necessary infrastructure to thrive.
The collaboration with Newton County Water & Sewerage Authority, Strack, Inc., and LEGACY WATER GROUP, LLC was instrumental in delivering this project in a timely manner. Their expertise and dedication aligns perfectly with our commitment to engineering excellence and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the inclusion of spare conduits, which provide the flexibility needed to accommodate future development and expansion. As Stanton Springs continues to grow, Newton County Water and Sewerage Authority’s (NCWSA) infrastructure will be readily available to support additional businesses and industries, fostering economic prosperity and job opportunities for the local community.
At GWES, we firmly believe that projects like this go beyond construction; they pave the way for sustainable growth, economic vitality, and a brighter future for the entire region. We take immense pride in being part of Stanton Springs' journey towards becoming a global destination for future industries, and we remain committed to engineering excellence and service to communities across the region.
