Today, we remember and honor SOC (SEAL) Austin Rivers Irby, who passed away on August 24, 2022, and Chief Warrant Officer (SEAL) Gary M. Garbers, who passed away on August 24, 2013. #NavySEALFoundation
Most citizens shall never understand what efforts and preparations are put into becoming a NAVY SEAL. God bless our special forces and God Bless our NAVY SEALS and a "SHOUT-OUT" to the families of lost loved ones in these speical forces groups. A "SHOUT-OUT" to all our veterans.
And the president of the United States has opened the United States to millions of illegal immigrants and these MEN have given their lives for what!
These warfighters and their families had a career and lived a life that none of us can even begin to comprehend, earning their Trident each day of their career. Despite the loss of their hero, and our Country's best, their families will be provided some measure of support and tribute via the Navy Seal Foundation. I look to honor and pay my respect to these heroes at the Denver Evening of Tribute 2025.

2moMiss that sense of humor Gary! There is nobody I enjoyed working with and deploying with more. For the record, Rich Hyser was me and Gary’s platoon chief. He also passed from a brain tumor just last week and of course Gary did as well. Two greats guys from the same platoon….what are the odds? Love and miss you both! LLTB
