To start off National Compassionate Leadership Week, we asked our Managing Partner, Cliff Roberts, what it means to him. "Compassionate leadership to me means spending your energy to be present for your team, while being thoughtful in how you approach them. This style of leadership is not easy, nor does it equate to being an "easy boss". It is quite the opposite. I believe management is always a support role and I think managers often forget that. I also believe: - An employee who feels supported will be much more productive. - An employee who feels heard will be much more accountable. - An employee who feels happy will help drive a positive company culture of collaboration, which then drives efficiency through the roof." We are grateful to have Cliff's example of compassionate leadership here at NavNet, and send out a pat-on-the-back to all of you compassionate leaders out there!
