🐔 Missed the #ICPIH poster session in Manila today? Don't worry! Take a look at our BioFreeze® poster presented by Tommi Timoharju. Our preservation solution BioFreeze® is a cornerstone of Alimetrics Diagnostics' services. In the study presented, we compared samples preserved with BioFreeze® at different temperatures🌡️ with those stored at –20 ºC. Fresh caecal samples from broiler chickens were homogenized and divided into three groups: 1. Control samples collected on day 0 🔬 2. Samples stored at –20 ºC ❄️ 3. Samples preserved in BioFreeze® at +4 ºC, +20 ºC, and +35 ºC 💡 for 14, 30, and 60 days. In short, BioFreeze® at room temperature effectively stabilized and protected microbial DNA, comparable to storage at –20 ºC. So, with BioFreeze® we can deliver both flexibility in what we measure and smooth sample logistics. 📞 Reach out to Tommi Timoharju to discover how our lab services can maximize the outcomes of your feeding trials. #BioFreeze #GutHealth
