Happy to share a new report from National Skills Coalition, co-written with my fabulous colleague Jennifer Stiddard, that looks at the design considerations for states when establishing financial aid programs to support students pursuing non-degree credentials, using examples from six programs in five states - LA, IA, IN, VA, and WA. There are a variety of approaches to these financial aid programs and the specific choices states make have implications for the students served and how they ensure that the outcomes students experience are worth their time and financial investment.
